Ty Beic is comprised of two, one bedroom holiday cottages tucked away on a hill above the tiny hamlet of Sarnau, near Bala, on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park. These two restored stone barns are a magical place to stay all year round providing a perfect base for exploring North Wales.
The Stable is a one bedroom, dog friendly cottage with exposed beams and stone walls. It is furnished to a very high standard with a certain offbeat charm
Our two cottages are furnished to a very high standard with a certain offbeat charm.
The character of the original farm buildings has been retained with exposed beams and stone walls but with the technology to keep you snug in the winter and cool in the summer. The underfloor heating, thick stone walls and double glazed oak windows keep the cottages warm through the coldest winter – making them enticing places to which to return after a day in the wild outdoors.
The living area has a comfortable sofa, dining table and chairs, TV with Netflix, DVD/Blueray player and music system with DAB radio and bluetooth. The kitchen has a hob, oven, microwave, toaster, fridge and a full range of cooking utensils.
The bedroom has a superking bed or two singles, depending on your requirements. The en suite bathroom has underfloor heating and a shower with plentiful hot water.
There is a patio area with a BBQ, a garden area with seating and access to our grounds, where you can use the fire pit or just sit and stare at the beautiful Berwyn mountains.
There is private parking, secure bicycle storage, bike wash facilities and a laundry which also has a shared freezer. We provide bed linen and towels.
Please see our listing for 'Ty Beic Holiday Apartments - The Barn' for information about our other cottage.
