This newly remodeled, tastefully designed one bedroom apartment is located in the safe, residential and family-friendly neighborhood of Bernal Heights, one block from Precita Park.
This is a completely separate downstairs unit and our family lives in the home upstairs. Please understand that with two young children, we cannot guarantee quiet, particularly in the early morning. If you are an early riser, are yourself traveling with young children or are not bothered by noises above, you are an ideal guest.
This newly remodeled, tastefully designed one bedroom apartment is located in the safe, residential and family-friendly neighborhood of Bernal Heights, one block from Precita Park. The unit has it's own private entrance, bamboo floors, a living room, dining area, kitchen, bathroom and wi-fi internet access.
The bedroom features a comfortable bed with a queen-sized Euro-top mattress, a delightful, Asian antique armoire, and charming Japanese shoji sliding doors that separate it from the living room. There is a full-sized sofa bed in the living room, so a couple with one friend or perhaps two younger children can stay in the apartment at the same time. The ceilings are just 6 and a half feet high, so if you are that height or taller, please take notice - you will need to watch your head.
The comfortable living room couch faces a wall-mounted 40-inch flat screen television with a Roku box which lets you stream movies and programs from the internet. The well-appointed, modern kitchen has granite counter tops, a counter top stove, microwave, convection oven, and refrigerator. There is also an in-unit washer and dryer. Stay in and make dinner, or head out to any of the excellent nearby restaurants in Bernal Heights or the Mission District.
The weather in this part of San Francisco is the sunniest in the city. With an excellent neighborhood cafe, coffee shops, a corner fruit and vegetable market, and several restaurants a short stroll away, this quiet, secluded apartment gives you a home-away-from-home experience. Precita Park provides a broad, open area with beautiful trees, grass, plenty of room to throw a frisbee or baseball, and a popular children's playground at one end. The apartment is also conveniently located, within easy walking distance of public transit including multiple bus lines, a 15-minute walk to BART, and easy freeway access. If you have a car, we have free, on-street parking in front of the unit's garage.
