I will be available to welcome you and help you settle in and can make recommendations for places to eat and visit during your stay.
There is space for you to lock a bicycle outside the house.
We do have a large friendly dog (lurcher). She doesn't bark and generally sleeps most of the time. However she is a dreadful biscuit thief and would love to climb on the bed if given half a chance, so it is very important to keep your bedroom door shut at all times!
No additional unbooked guests
Access to kitchen and lounge by request as I work from home and my schedule changes.
Please keep your bedroom door shut at all times to ensure our pet lurchers don't steal your biscuits!

I especially love being outdoors or creating spaces that people want to spend time in. Between walking my dogs on the beautiful South Downs I work as a therapist and run a nearby community allotment garden called PLOT 22, a beautiful oasis in the city where people come and grow food to cook and share together.
I have lived in Hove with my now teenage son and two lurchers for 17 years. I love being able to swim in the sea and walk on the Downs in the same day. Brighton and Hove is such a vibrant, creative place to live and work – there is always more to discover. I am happy to recommend lovely places to eat at and visit.
Many people have commented on the warm welcome they feel when they stay with us or visit the garden. Our house is in a quiet street and there is a calm, family atmosphere to the neighbourhood, so you'll get a good nights sleep here. Yet with fantastic transport links into Brighton or up to London the fun is literally only a few minutes away!
There are plenty of books for you to peruse and if you like making music you'll be welcome to sit down at our piano or pick up a guitar in the evenings - these are currently very underplayed!
If you stay in our house, you'll be assured of both a warm reception, and the space to do your own thing.
