When you arrive we always anticipate to be in so we can welcome you and provide you with a reviving cup of tea/cofee and help with any questions or queries on the area you may have. If for any reason we can not be here there is a key safe and will provide directions on booking.
We live on the main road into Rustington the centre of which is about a 15 minute walk or brief ride in the car where there is ample parking and we supply the discs. Rustington is a lovely town and has a heart of a high street. There are several restaurants ranging from curry to Italian. There is a local pub called The Lamb which is a chain but does a reasonable priced steak and chips and then of course there is Mick's which is a great Fish n chip shop. Rustington is the neighbour to Littlehampton which is a lovely seaside resort. The seafront has recently been regenerated, with the Longest Bench, seating for over 300 people, stretching along the promenade lining the Award wining Blue flag beach. You can have dinner or lunch or just stop for a coffee or ice cream at the architectural award winning East Beach Cafe. There is also the new attractive promenade alongside the Arun river which has lots of places to eat not forgetting Fred's which does the best Fish and Chips, Take the ferry across the Arun to West Beach where the cafe does the best Crab Cakes with a nice glass of Rose lovely on a hot summer's day!
There are many wonderful places to walk along the beach or in the downs the local favourite being Highdown where the view, on a good day, can stretch as far as the Isle of Wight to the West and Brighton to the East. There is also the Angmering Park Estate where in April/May time is blanketed by an colourful display of wild bluebells amongst the forest.
To sum up a great place to visit and explore or just sit on the beach watching the world go by. Any more local news and photos please check out (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) and Sussex by the Sea tourist information.
We have the coastal bus route the 700 goes all the way from Portsmouth to Brighton encompassing every town and village nearly on the way, travels every 10 minutes. Hence it takes time but it is like a bus tour without the tour guide and it stops right outside our house! We have a local train station which can take you to London or just locally and is about 20 minutes to walk or there is a car park. There is a water taxi that crosses the Arun from Littlehampton to West Beach which is a conservation beach and you can walk along to Clymping and beyond maybe stop off and have a smart lunch at Bayliff's court along with a spa!
If travelling by car we have space for a car and also supply parking discs for Rustington and Littlehampton car parks.
There is a washing machine which you can use for a small fee or I can do washing and drying for you at a cost of £5.
We do live on a busy road so be aware there will be traffic noise.
We are a No Smoking household and as have two dogs will not be able to accommodate any further pets. We would ask that you respect that it is a family home and to treat it as you would your own and if returning to the property at a late hour to keep the noise to a minimum.

I live in our lovely family home with my husband and two teenage children with one away at University and our two border terriers!
I am a lover of food and hospitality having trained and worked in this field for many years. Our kitchen diner is the heart of our home and being SW facing is perfect place to relax and eat in the sunshine any time of year.
I enjoy the cinema and we are lucky to have a small local independent cinema that has nearly all releases along with the live streaming of west end productions that are now so popular. Alternatively I enjoy being a "friend" of our Chichester theatre which is affiliated with our wonderful British Institution the National Theatre and hence the quality of all productions reflect this from cast to stage.
We love to travel and ski and as I worked as a chalet girl in my formative years we wanted to make sure our children would have the opportunity so we were fortunate enough to buy an apartment in the gorgeous lesser know resort of Bansko in Bulgaria.
I would hope that you enjoy your stay with us as we enjoy being hospitable and entertaining our friends so we would anticipate to provide the same relaxed atmosphere for our clients so that they want for nothing.
