25yr old+ Renters only. Please take a pic or your drivers license and send prior to booking. Country house on main street in Orangeburg, close to universities and amenities. Our love of this house shines in the wood floors, warms the well-equipped kitchen, and bubbles in the Jacuzzi tub.
Must be 25+years old to check in. Email copy of govt ID prior to booking. No third party bookings.
Please follow the Golden Rule-- clean up after yourself and treat our home like it is your home. Leave it like you found it. We want you to enjoy the house, and also want us and our next guests to enjoy it. Use coasters on all wood surfaces. Feel free to smoke on the screened porch, the back deck, or outside. (The back deck off the office tends to be dusty because there are no windows). Please do not smoke inside the house.
We hate to be redundant, but NO PETS. If pets enter our home and/or we find ANY evidence of pets, you will be charged for mitigation of dander, hair, etc. in the HVAC intake and vents, and throughout every surface in the whole house. Due to allergies, pets are definitely NOT welcome.
Have friends over! No events over 10 people without prior arrangement, please.

Think for yourself, not for me.
Originally from Sacramento, California, I am a cultural relativist. I love to travel to new places, eat interesting food, and meet new people.
As a professor, I love young people and have taken student groups on coveted trips to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic; Nassau, Bahamas; and Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. I like to take the blame for igniting the addiction to travel in my students.
I have also traveled to Aruba, Bahamas, Belgium, Belize, Canada, Cayman Islands, France, Holland, Honduras, India, Jamaica, Germany, Greece, Mexico, Mozambique, Nicaragua, Panama, Singapore, Swaziland, South Africa, and United Arab Emirates (without students).
Where to next???
