This is as much for privacy as it is for security. Gates are double locked at night. We do not have security cameras but they are coming. The grounds and walkways are lighted at night. Most condo entrance doors are touch pad controlled. All condo's on the main property have access to the first floor laundry and pool bath room. A washer/gas dryer is available for guest use. Our condo's are American maintained and constantly being updated. This condo is on our main house property and is first floor of our three story "bodega" building and is approximately 450 sq feet in size. We call this a studio condo as it is totally open except for the closet and bathroom. It has a queen select comfort/sleep number bed and a full 6 foot closet with plenty of shelving and wall safe. The rental is suited for two people as there is no room for additional beds. The condo includes mini split A/C, two place dining bar with a four place patio table and chairs on the patio, full kitchen with a 6 burner SS gas range with a 30 inch microwave above the range, three door 30 inch SS LG refrigerator with ice maker and a stand alone refrigerated water dispenser, Single bowl SS sink with garbage disposal, under kitchen cabinet lighting, juicer, blender, toaster, cuisinart coffee maker, and all utensils, pots, pans, silverware and dishes. Included in the rental is free out bound calls using Vonage North America plan to the US and Canada and basically the rest of the world. The condo's on this property have the main inbound phone numb(PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN)) with a Panasonic CPU and answering /messaging system. Vonage customers can also call in bound toll free. The condo has a wall mounted 39 inch internet ready HDTV flat screen TV with ROKU programing via the internet, 5 meg's of internet with it's own router utilizing our open US VPN. Hot water is supplied by a propane gas on demand hot water heater (shared with the laundry room) and has a pressurized water system. Most of our condos have schlage keyless entry door locks. A laundry room with a washer/gas dryer and pool bathroom is available for your use. Cost of the condo is $1,900.00 USD plus 19% tax monthly and $700.00 USD including all utilities plus 19% tax weekly. Low season rates June thru December 15th 25% discount plus 19% tax. Auto, moto and bike rentals are available. It’s a bit off the beaten track (one mile from ocean) which allows you to feel like you are actually in Mexico...and Doug and Terry make every effort to make you feel comfortable and welcome. The apartments are modern, clean and equipped with everything you could possibly need for eating, etc. The area is safe and close to big stores for stocking up fridge,etc. They have a beautiful large pool, and all grounds are as well beautifully maintained. For us it was a great intro to the ins and outs of Cozumel and Mexico, as Doug and Terry help with anything that comes up or know where to direct you, and that is sometimes invaluable in a foreign country. We are interested in mature, respectful guest's that enjoy what we call some of the BEST condos on Cozumel. There is always a lot of press about Mexico and how unsafe it is. Cozumel, I feel, is one of the safest places in the world for a vacation. We not only have a large police force that patrol the neighborhoods on a 24 hour basis, Tourist police that speak English down town but also have four branches of the Mexican Military on island. The air force and navy patrol the perimeters of the island nightly. Also as we are the largest cruise ship destination in the world the cruise lines especially Carnival would not be here if there guest's would be at risk or unsafe.
We are a retired American couple from New Jersey. Our retirement dream was to live on an Island and enjoy life. 30 years ago we bought our first property on Cozumel. We searched the islands and decided that Cozumel was the best place for us.
