SPOTinROME embraces the old vocation to hospitality of Romans, who considered the guest as dear to the gods in the classical age. Located in the heart of historical Rome, with its recurrent sun-ripened colors and unique environments, you will be surprised.
Rome, seen day by day, never ends.
Rome, with its deep Mediterranean roots, is neither simple nor tidy.
Rome can't be captured with just one look, Rome invades your senses.
You need a reference point in Rome, to live at its best, a true landing point where to take stock of the situation, and get oriented to get back on walking.
SPOTinROME is led by the intention, in every detail, to make your stay in the city a comfortable and unforgettable experience (leaving a feeling of having been part of Rome to the traveler). Its 1950s design (chairs and tables, chairs and mirrors, porcelain crockery and brass cutlery) talks with a contemporary decor, designed ad hoc, essential, where the atmosphere of the gardens of the ancient Rome is settled, like the Boschetto of Livia's room (piece of the Frescoes inside Livia's room dating back to 40 - 20 BC, exhibited today at Palazzo Massimo at the Baths).
The 47 square meters apartment is located on the third floor of a 17th century building, accessible both from stairs and elevator, and is bright and welcoming; it consists of:
entrance with coat rack, wardrobe, armored door, safe
kitchen with gas cooker, fridge, washing machine, dishwasher, pots and not only…
day/night open space with living room, table for two and fold-away bed
extra-size 160x200, with heating and air conditioning,
bathroom with shower, double sink and bidet,
professional hairdryer, Society Limonta towels.
We paid attention to everything related to your well-being as we would have done at home: from the "Simmons" mattress covered by the finest garment-dyed linen and "Society Limonta" precious yarns, to the courtesy set made by the Sicilian craft-work company "Sa di Sapone", which has revived the old Mediterranean tradition to make soap exclusively with olive oil and Sicily flower and fruit essences, to the filtering carafe "Brita" that, like we use to do at home, will make you taste the tap water supplied by the new virgin aqueduct, which runs parallel to the only Roman aqueduct still working after twenty centuries, launched on 9 June 19 BC, which supplies water to almost all the largest and great historical fountains of the area (Piazza Navona, Barcaccia, Terrina, etc…), first of all the Trevi Fountain.
For all these reasons, and to help you to preserve the feelings of the days spent here with us, we decided not to provide a TV, but a high speed double-frequency wi-fi to connect with your mobile or surf with the SPOTinROME tablet, at your disposal for the entire stay.
You can count on us if you need suggestions on how to get oriented in Rome.
