Bamboo hardwood floors throughout living areas. Granite counter-tops in kitchen and maple panel cabinets. Energy Star rated appliances include stainless steel dish washer, refrigerator and stove. Washer/dryer in unit.
Two A/C and heating wall mounted units with remote (one in living room, one in bedroom). 120 gal hot water tank with solar pre-heat panel on roof.

The unit is oriented and glazed to maximize the gorge and river views to the west and the escarpment cliffs Coyote Walls (Syncline) to the north.

A LEED / Energy Star rated residence.

Queen size bed with pillow-top and down comforter.

Autres remarques

The railroad track and I-84 are close by and there is some noise associated with proximity. While there is not active whistle blowing, there may be some vibration from the railroad traffic. To combat the noise there is sound mitigating glazing provided at all windows on the view riverside which is exposed to I-84 and the railroad. Additional sound insulation between units is provided at party walls to reduce noise transference.
Lights in ceiling are cool lights and not flood lights.
There is Apple TV in the unit.

D'Ann and Steve's place was perfect. The location and scenery was beautiful and D'Ann was great about suggesting local restaurants! We would absolutely go back to this place.

D'Ann is a great host! She was very attentive and easy to reach. The condo was perfect for us. It was all new and very clean. Her instructions for how to manage the property were very clear and everything worked like clockwork. The community itself is nice and welcoming although somewhat detached from the "activity" in River (URL HIDDEN) balance this, Mosier offers attractions of its own, like the two tunnel bike ride and the hike up to the Mosier plateau.. We especially liked the close by wineyard, Annalema..all of which were among the many suggestions she left for us. Overall, we had a fantastic experience in the Columbia River Gorge and in D'Ann's condo. Thanks again Florence

This is the second time we have stayed here and will stay here again. The view is wonderful, the location is great and the unit is extremely clean, well-stocked and nicely decorated. There is a very nice short hike starting across the street from the facility which leads up to swimming hole on Mosier Creek and further on to a wonderful view point. The photos are very accurate. Inside there is a feel of privacy and we love the rumble of the trains.

D'Ann's place is a lovely stay if you are looking to relax with a pool and a view. Mosier is a nice little town with lots going on for its size with live music and farmers markets along with Mosier creek hosting a few good swimming holes you can dive in it has everything you need. And if you want more hood river and white salmon are just 10 mins away. Their home is lovely with a moden feel thats still inviting. I enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching the Washington side of the river through the binoculars they provided while sipping a beer. An awesome time in an awesome place!

This condo was beyond expectations! The view is incredible and the home is stylish and comfortable. D'Ann had great recommendations for the area and we had the best time! Specific highlights include: Proximity to Hood River, the local waterfall, salt water pool, local wineries and amazing local food. We hope to stay here again in the future!

D'Ann was a great hostess - she was very responsive and flexible with our request for a nonstandard check in. She also gave recommendations and got us last minute reservations at a great restaurant. The unit: My wife and I have extremely high standards for cleanliness, and I can honestly say that this place was absolutely spotless. Nice furniture. Well stocked kitchen, laundry detergent, toiletries, and plenty of spare towels, etc. The view is fantastic. Full length windows look northwest over the gorge toward Hood River, OR and White Salmon, WA. The interstate and train tracks are close by - they don't pollute the view, but the noise is slightly annoying if you're outside or have the windows open. Location is excellent. 10 mins drive to groceries, restaurants, etc in Hood River, but secluded from the crowds (very refreshing, as we stayed over July 4th weekend). Easy access to all outdoor activities in the gorge and the Mount Hood area. Wouldn't think twice about staying here again.

Fantastic place for a first time Airbnb. The view was astounding! Could watch windsurfers right from the living room, and see the gorgeous panoramic views of the gorge. Pretty close to Hood River, and D'Ann was great about being quick to communicate. The place has a terrific pool, and was super clean. Only very minor issue was a smaller bed, but it was plenty cozy for us. The Apple TV was a nice addition, for when you want to relax for an hour or two at the end of a busy day.

We want to invite you to our quirky little town and the natural beauty of the surrounding Columbia River Gorge area.
We have both traveled extensively and love Italy, Guatemala and New Zealand. I'm a native Oregonian and work as a part-time travel consultant and property manager. My husband Steve has worked in the footwear industry for over 25 years. We are pretty easy going people, love socializing and visiting and Steve loves to watch football and cooking on the grill. We love to take walks and hike the many trails in the area and Steve enjoys downwind surfing on his outrigger canoe on the Columbia river in the summer when the wind is blowing. We love dining out in one of the many local Hood River restaurants or staying close to home and eating at the Rack & Cloth here in Mosier where we can help support our local economy.
