Sedona is 120 miles north of Phoenix. Known for its unique beauty and serene setting amidst the beautiful Red Rocks, the town is famous for its vibrant arts community, with nearly 100 art galleries and events including the Sedona International Film Festival, Sedona Arts Festival and the Sedona Jazz Festival, all held annually. Sedona offers excellent outdoor adventures, including mountain biking, hiking and off-roading. Sedona, which is surprisingly sprawling, features Oak Creek to the south, West Sedona and of course, Uptown Sedona, each providing magnificent views, unique hiking trails, fine dining and the arts.
A convenient park and two grocery stores are within easy walking distance, or just a 2 minute drive.
Enjoy horseback riding, jeeps tours, hot air balloon rides, and helicopter tours. Casa de Bella Sedona is a short distance to Bell, Courthouse and Castle Rock trails, top-rated restaurants, artisan galleries, antique shops and charming coffee houses.
You'll want to experience the special spiritual attraction and high energy vortice fields (vortexes), known world-wide, in this fabled area.
Get in touch with Sedona's rich Native American culture. Explore historic petroglyphs and ancient cave dwellings.
Visit historic Jerome and Prescott, the famous Lowell Observatory or snow ski in beautiful Flagstaff. And of course, the Grand Canyon is a short 90 minute drive to the north.
Or simply relax and delight in all the amenities of your private home on the edge of the Coconino National Forest.
Check in - Check out
Check-in is at 4 p.m., and check-out is by 11 a.m. Arriving slightly earlier, or want that extra hour to sleep? Should be fine, but please check with us first.
We ask that you kindly respect our maximum occupancy requirement. We have this in place instead of an additional guest charge in an attempt to keep costs down for you! We understand that for a whole bunch of reasons, you may want additional guests to stay in the place. In the event that you want additional guests to stay, please contact us to let us know. We’re reasonable people and will accommodate wherever possible.
Smoking isn't permitted inside. Outside is fine.
What you do in your personal time is entirely up to you, but when staying at our place we have a strict no drug use policy. This is just the law… not so much one of our rules.
While it's always fun to eat sushi and lobster in bed, we have designated spots to eat... the kitchen and dining room.
While it may make a cool noise or be more convenient please don't put these things in the garbage disposal.
1. Bones. They'll just keep spinning around and around with the blades.
2. Celery. The fibrous strings tend to tangle the disposal's blades.
3. Coffee grounds. Coffee grounds are deceptive.
4. Egg shells.
5. Fruit pits.
8. Potato peels.
While we do a professional clean between each guest stay, we kindly ask that prior to leaving, you put away any clean dishes or kitchenware used and put any dirty towels/sheets in the washer. It helps us get through our cleaning process quicker and allows us to keep related costs down for you and future guests.
Electricity: Lights / AC / Heating
To keep our costs down (and pass those savings on to our guests) we kindly ask that you switch off lights and the turn up the A/C and turn down heating when it's not in use or leaving the house. Mother nature thanks you too.
Trash? There is a green trash can on the side of the home. If you are staying on a Monday kindly roll it to the curb in front of the house in the morning. Dishes? Please put all dirty dishes in the dishwasher and start it before you leave.
You may do laundry during your stay of course. Please clean out the lint on the dryer as needed. Upon departure put all used sheets and towels in the clothes washer in the laundry area.
Gatherings or Parties
If you’re coming to Sedona to party that's wonderful. Unfortunately, just not at our place. Though we’re sure it won’t come to it, serious complaints of unruly behavior will unfortunately result in you being asked to leave. Not good for you. Not good for us.
The Nepenthe community is a very quiet neighborhood. Please be quiet from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. and be considerate of the neighbors. Most of them get up early, go to work, walk their dogs or take hikes.
We love animals! They are allowed, but must be approved with the reservation in advance. They must be house trained. All "accidents" must be communicated with Russ. We understand that accidents happen. But we do ask that you please let us know when they do. Chances are we can fix them as effortlessly as possible which also means better chances of having your full security deposit returned too!
Due to previous problems (and we’re sure this doesn’t relate to you…) we’ve needed to implement a minimum age requirement of 21+. Guests under the age of 21 are still entirely welcome – they will just need to be accompanied by parents or guardians.
The easiest way to disrupt an enjoyable stay is a plumbing problem. To prevent this, we kindly ask you to please place things like sanitary napkins in the trash bin we’ve provided in the bathroom. We simply want to ensure you have a royal flush kind of holiday!
To ensure we keep the carpet/tile squeaky clean for our guests’ enjoyment, we have a no shoes policy inside our home.
Let me know if anything is broken or not working. I'll make every attempt to fix it.
À partir du 1 janvier 2018 - 31 mai 2018, la durée minimum de séjour est de 3 nuits.
Airbnb Superhosts from Phoenix, where our family has lived for about 20 years, we are offering two properties, one in Sedona, the other in Phoenix (west of Chandler and Tempe). Russ grew up in a small, snowy central New York village and Emily was raised in San Diego (much better weather). We met in Scottsdale and now have two teenage boys and a wonderful dog, Bella.
We decided to join Airbnb as hosts in 2015, made Casa de Bella Sedona available and have loved it.
Russ does all the leg work, coordination and communication. Emily serves as a back up. So far, so good, as the first 70 (combined) reviews will attest.
Both the Sedona and Phoenix abodes are single story homes that sleep five (six if one person takes the couch), have two bathrooms, attached two car garages, hi speed wireless Internet and keyless entry.
Casa de Bella Sedona has access to a pool, spa and the wonderful Red Rock scenery. The Phoenix home is located in Ahwatukee, and close to East Valley cities like Tempe, Chandler and Scottsdale.
The two properties are named after our very loving English Cream Golden Retriever. Bella's now eight, loves to take walks and greets everyone she meets.
We hope to share these places with as many people as possible and make new friends along the way. If you book Casa de Bella Phoenix, we live five minutes away. Russ will meet you personally to answer questions, but only if it works with your schedule. Although it's more of a challenge to meet guests in Sedona, we've been able to say hello to many of them.
