À propos de ce logement
Extremely cool rental includes a private entrance, bedroom, full bath and living room with a shared music/dining room and kitchen. Gorgeous modern and colorful decor with a big shaded yard in downtown Madisonville only 4 blocks from the riverfront restaurants and shops.
I bought this great chunk of Louisiana five months ago and just finished renovating the inside. The set up is a perfect rental giving every my guests all the privacy they need. It has 12 foot ceilings and tons of windows and light throughout. High gloss wood floors for days and a modern/traditional decor with tons of original artwork and sculptures.

This beautiful old home is set up perfectly for everyone to enjoy their privacy and the tranquility of Madisonville. You have your own entrance in the front and can use the front porch to relax and read at your leisure. In the very front off the hall is your own living room, bedroom and full bath then into the shared space down the hall is the music/dining room and kitchen.
My living space is in the rear of the house where I come and go through the rear gate and entrance. So unless we all want to have some wine or dinner together, the place is extremely private for my guests.

I ran an air bnb in New Orleans for a year (with STELLAR!! reviews by the way ;) before buying my house here in Madisonville and loved it, so I'm no stranger to AirBNBing. I'll definitely try to be here when you check in so I can show you around myself and take all the time you need to answer any questions you might have. I love helping people locate good food, great antiques, fun live music etc. It's Louisiana and this is old school Louisiana so there is no shortage of soul and heritage around these parts (makes my job pretty easy if you want to find something to do;) We'll arrange your arrival details once you book and make sure you get a good welcome.
I always have soda's, bottled water and coffee fixins ready for my guests. Please feel free and help yourself to these.
I do have a cat. Her name is Biscuit and she is quite possibly a dog in disguise. She stays in the rear with me but you may see her in the yard or porch, feel free to let her chill with you.
I've had very few problems with any guests on ABB in the past so the only thing I ask for is general courtesy. Please be clean in the kitchen, stuff like putting your dirty dishes in the dishwasher, not leaving the AC running cold freeze while you're gone for the day, not too loud after 11pm outside. Don't be mean to me... pretty basic human stuff I guess.

Hi there, I'm Sarah! Thanks for checking out my AIRbnb page, I hosted a great airbnb in New Orleans for a year before moving to Alaska to try my hand at gold mining and living it rough. I just moved back to good old Louisiana and it's glorious indoor amenities and luxuries to buy this stunning old gem in Madisonville. I absolutely loved doing the AirBnb in New Orleans and my new house is set up perfectly for it!
I am a painter and textile designer, with love of all things color! I love decorating and styling homes, especially the continual work on my own home which is it's own art piece in itself.
I keep to myself during the week and work on art projects, paintings or furniture stuff. During the weekend, like most southerners, I spend it with friends and family, enjoying delicious food and drinks. I love being a hostess and I think that's part of the reason I love AirBnb so much!
They ask you to add a life motto so hmmm, how bout:
Life is short, take more risks.
5 Things I can't live without: (in no particular order)
3. really good food
5. game of thrones
favorite place is n/w china, favorite food is eggrolls, fave book is jitterbug perfume. fave movie is oldschool.
**Is AIRBnb also becoming a dating site with these questions LOL...
I'm a good airbnb guest because: I stayed in an airbnb in costa rica and fixed THEIR shower then gave them a great review because they were great people!
