The apartment was centrally located in Palm-Mar, but due to some problems with the listed apartment, Marina told us when we arrived that she had given us another. This apartment was on the 7th floor of the building, with a very nice view, overlooking the sea and the small village of Palm-Mar. The apartment was small, but nice and clean with lots of amenities. The only downside to it was the very (most of the time not working) unstable wi-fi, the fact that there were no windows in the bedroom and that the drain in the shower was partially blocked. The bedroom did have a ceiling fan, but it was still a bit claustrophobic, and the double bed was very small, so we ended up sleeping two persons on the sofabed in the living room and only one person in the doublebed. However, we still had a nice stay, and communication with Marina was fast and efficient. The apartmentbuilding have a small minimarket and some restaurants and a bar by the entrance. We really appreciated the very nice bar The Club House, where the owners was very helpful and friendly. Palm-Mar is a very small village, mostly consisting of holiday apartments, so there is not much to do there. The beach is very rocky, but would be good for divers. There are a few( some of them rather good) restaurants, a tiny minimarket and a bigger supermarket, and also a lovely ice-cream bar. You can take a taxi to the sandy beaches in Los Cristianos, or you can walk, something that will take you about an hour if you take the nice hike over the mountain. The nearby village of Las Galletas is a two hour walk if you follow the coastal path. If you plan to stay for a while, it is probably advisable to have a car, but for us staying only for a week we managed with walking on our feet and taking taxis. Overall we are very happy with our stay at Marinas apartment.
