We chose Nicole's place because it is centrally located to explore Charlevoix, and within a few minutes drive into Baie-St-Paul where there are plenty of restaurants. The house is on the main road through the area but is set back and screened enough from the road so that it is pretty quiet. It is in a strip of residences in the transition zone between commercial development at the edge of town and the farms that occupy the countryside of Charlevoix. There are six guest rooms and in the winter they all use the main entrance to the house. Breakfast is in a nice sunroom off the kitchen. We cross-country skied at Le Massif (25 minutes) and at les Grands Jardins National Park (25 minutes the other direction). Nicole was very helpful and accommodating during our three night stay.
