Spacious 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom beachfront home located on a private beach. Central air and a beachfront jacuzzi....10 minutes to Waikiki or the famous snorkling spot, Hanauma Bay.

This is a permitted vacation rental property. We are able to accept less than 30 days rentals. Please contact us for the NUC number.

South Shore 35 is beautiful beachfront home located on the South Shore of Oahu. The 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom home is equipped with a full kitchen as well as a gas grill. This spacious home features a large sunken living room and multiple rooms that open to the ocean. The front of the home has a grass yard that spills down to a private beach, accessible only by the few upscale homes located along the beach. Central air conditioning and a jacuzzi with an ocean view are a few of its features.

Guests staying at South Shore 35 have full access to the house and its amenities. This is a single dwelling home with no caretaker or additional homes on property.

We provide guests with a free app that includes driving directions, move in instructions, information about the house and loads of info about our island. We love to share our favorite recommendations with guests. We can be reached via email or telephone. We have staff in the office 7 days a week and use an answering service after hours. Simply leave a message with them and we will return your call the next business day. If it's an emergency, the answering service will get in touch with one of our staff as soon as possible.

South Shore 35 is in a residential neighborhood with neighbors on either side. Guests have direct beach access from the backyard. The beach outside the home is ideal for beach walking,paddle boarding, and kayaking. The surf break in front of the home known as "Secrets."

Public Transportation is possible and a bus stop is located very close to the house. We highly recommend a car as there are many spots you will want to see on the island that aren't accessible by bus. Taxis are available in this area if you call ahead, and Uber is now readily available in Honolulu as well.

The state of Hawaii requires both the GET (General Excise Tax 4.712%) and TAT (Transient Accommodation Tax 9.25%) be applied to rent and fees, a total of 13.962%. The Airbnb platform does not currently give us the ability to itemize and charge these taxes accurately. We are in contact with Airbnb regarding this, and hope to have the issue fixed soon. In the meantime, after making a reservation all guests will be sent a separate e-contract with house rules, and will be required to pay the taxes using a major credit card. All guests will be required to sign a house rules contract and pay required State of Hawaii taxes prior to arrival. If you do not feel comfortable signing the house rules or paying the taxes outside of the Airbnb website please do not book online.

The house rules are standard, such as no smoking and no pets. One very strictly enforced rule is that we do not permit outside guests; all people on property must be registered. Our homes are intended for the enjoyment of our resident guests and not as a gathering spot for parties or events. This is in order to honor and respect the neighbors - we take pride in being great neighbors! If you would like more information about the rules please request a copy of our full contract before making a reservation.

We loved the place, just as pictured. There were 6 adults and 3 children and it was very spacious. The views were great and very relaxing. Communication with Stephanie and Zoie went very smoothly and I really appreciated that. There were a couple adjustments that needed to be made and I've already communicated that to them and I'm sure it will be done for the next guests. Highly recommend this place, Enjoy!!!!!!!!

A beautiful setting on a private Hawaiian beach. Large house to accommodate our party at a great value. We had a wonderful time. Property managers had good communication and were quick to respond to questions. Offered great suggestions for local activities. Highly Recommended!

This house is great. Comfortably managed 10 of us and had lots of space. Great views of the private beach and ocean. Check in was easy and the house had everything we needed.

We had 14 total people (Four kids from 2-7 yrs old, One 88 yr old grandma, and Nine adults) live in this house during our vacation and there was enough room to house us all! The oceanfront view was amazing and the backyard was very relaxing. We enjoyed cooking dinners using the bbq grill, relaxing in the jacuzzi, and cooking breakfast in the morning in the large kitchen. The host was able to answer any questions and fix any minor repairs immediately and the instructions to get into the house were very clear. It was nice being able to wake up to the sunrise over the ocean. I read previous complaints regarding the street noise, which did not bother us as we did not mind at all. The driveway faces the main highway street so it is difficult to drive into, but you get used to it. There was plenty of space in the house for the kids to run around and for others to get their own space and relax. The photos show a telescope on the deck, which was not available so don't expect that if you book. Additionally, one of the beds was located in the living room so plan accordingly based on privacy preference. There was also an old speaker system that had very low volume so we weren't able to play music while hanging out with family, but that was a very minor issue since it was also very nice to be able to hear the water and the birds. If you are taking kids, I would recommend checking the beach in front of the house for broken glass, which we did find. Since this beach is very private, I don't think it get's cleaned for items such as broken glass very often so the water pushes it onto the shore progressively. So before our kids played in the sand, I would sweep the area and pick up any chips. Overall, we had an amazing time and we loved the house so the minor issues did not influence the wonderful experience we had with our family!

Our planned first trip to beautiful Hawaii was ruined, thanks to a horrible experience at this AIRBNB we selected on line. On our first night, I was horrified on a trip to the bathroom at 1:00am. As I entered the bathroom, a horrid smell of urine filled my senses. As if that wasn't disgusting enough, next, a rat scurried across my path. Not only that, but the floor was sticky and clung to my flip flops as I walked. Needless to say, the encounter with the rat, which scared me half to death and the smell, which almost made me vomit was the start of a very disappointing vacation. From there it was all downhill, as our stay continued on a most terrible path. As I was the one who had planned and made the accommodations for our party (my husband & I plus six other guests), I tried to clean the kitchen and the floor before anyone would notice. Because i found one out of three papayas with a small bite hole . I bought them less than 12 hours ago and it was tied in plastic bag and left on kitchen shelf overnight. I made no mention of the rat encounter, which would have been a huge embarrassment and disappointment for all. Early the next morning, I called the office to complain and sent e-mails but It took 3 days for maintenance to come and finally patch a hole. There were other issues that we had to deal with as well. A hammock which we all tried to use , was incorrectly installed, causing us all to get flipped out onto the lava rock wall. Needless to say we were all scratched badly on the lava wall and one of us even sliced his toe. There should be some type of warning about the wall and use of the hammock. Lastly, the noises from the highway 3 meters away from three of the four rooms, makes it feel like we are in the middle of a city and not in fact on a vacation at a beach in Hawaii. All in all a terrible time in paradise, spending most of my time trying in vane to keep all the issues under wraps, while all around us everything is going wrong. I was just trying my best to keep the happy holiday feel for all of us.

Hawaii Beach Homes is a family owned business located in Honolulu, Hawaii. We offer a small selection of beach front rentals on the beautiful island of Oahu. Our business started over 35 years ago when our founders fell in love with a beach house on their favorite beach, Laniakea, and were able to purchase it for their family when it finally went on the market. Friends began asking to rent their home when they were not using it, and then other friends began asking them to help take care of beach homes they had purchased. The rest is history.

We are a boutique vacation rental company, and carefully choose each property we take on. All of our owners are part of our Ohana (extended family), and our small staff has spent lots of time in each home. We know every house, beach, and neighborhood well, and love nothing more than helping you choose the perfect spot for your own Ohana. We understand that a trip to Hawaii is an experience of a life time for many of our guests.
