Beach Rd very central with balcony, living/kitchen with dishwasher etc, washing machine, clothes dryer, 1 double bedroom, 2nd double bedroom with natural light but no window. Handy for university, business area, shops, ferry, trains, ASB Tennis, Spark Arena, restaurants, museums, Northern Explorer. Wireless internet. If you want silence, or find walking upstairs 2 floors difficult, this is NOT the booking for you. Beach Rd is busy 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
Fully equipped and very central for everything you'd want to do in Auckland, with train & bus station nearby, supermarket, cafés, shops, restaurants, galleries, ASB Tennis Centre, Vector Arena, museums, businesses, tourist activities, harbour + island cruises, etc..
There are six areas: sunny balcony, narrow long hallway/corridor, master bedroom, second bedroom, bathroom and combined main room and kitchen. 55 square metres (600 sq ft) in total excluding balcony.
There is a dishwasher, washing machine and separate tumble dryer, 30 channel free-to-air TV and high speed wireless broadband. There is a shower in the bathroom (no bathtub). Commercial car parks available but no parking supplied with apartment: look up Wilson Parking on the internet.
Safe for kids indoors, but you'd have to watch young ones on the balcony.
The flat is empty of clutter so you'll not be living with someone else's clothes jungles, shoe collections, etc..
This property is NOT on a beach, does NOT have an elevator/lift.
High speed wireless internet (+/- 30 Mbps download), about as good as you can get in New Zealand.
Accès des voyageurs
All 55 square metres (600 sq ft) plus the small balcony is yours.
Downstairs at road level is a keypad to access the building itself, and a second code is for the flat front door up two flights of stairs. There are about 40 stairs to climb (no lift, no elevator). If you can't manage 40 stairs, this is NOT the booking for you.
Since there are no keys for the street-level door, you exit the building by pressing a button on the left hand side of the door.
We are flexible if we have notice in advance and we are able to help you with regard to check-in and checkout: however standard terms are check-in after 3 pm and check-out by 10 am.
The apartment block is modern, solid and has a central fire sprinkler system, building-wide fire sensors and centralised air ventilation systems. The tap water is for drinkable.
The key to the apartment is in a lock box beside the apartment door --- so there are two codes, one for downstairs and one for upstairs which we will provide, along with telephone numbers, at the time of booking.

By telephone but we will check the flat every few days in person. Access is via a code at the front door and with a key in a lock-box to the apartment, which has a second code. Exit the building by pressing a button on the left hand side of the street-level door.
There are other apartments about so be careful on the noise. If you are too noisy, especially after 10pm, you may receive a visit from the local government Noise Abatement Officer: they have significant power.
Put your rubbish in the bins near the front door. No smoking, no cooking of smelly food. No pets. No parties.
Be careful when you are cooking not to burn items as this will set off the central fire sensor and maybe the automatic sprinkler system.
We expect you to leave the place clean and tidy. No smoking. No pets. No cooking of smelly food.

We are a family of five, eldest boy just finished university, number two at university and the third at school. We do heaps of sports and outdoors things, and have a fabulous beagle-dog and a dubious cat.
