This is a genuine remote and off-grid waterfront property with great views and own private beach, great jetty and moorings towards the outer Queen Charlotte Sounds, close to the Queen Charlotte walking track by water taxi. It is a self-sufficient ECO cabin. Rowboats and Kayaks are available for your use. There is a wood-fired spa bath for you to soak and relax after your day.
This is a remote bach (cabin) in the Marlborough Sounds of New Zealand. It is two floors, open plan on both floors, of 140 sq meters. With deck and lawn. It can accommodate 8 people+. It is on 25 acres of land, so you are free to roam to your hearts delight. Rowboats and Kayaks are available for your use free of charge. There is good fishing in the area and just off the Jetty at high water. At the end of the day, you can relax and soak in our wood-fired spa bath HAVE FUN!

If you don't have your own boat, to get to the bach, you need to book a water taxi from Picton (about a 30-45 minute trip) as there is no public road to the property. They go by three times a day and can deliver you and pick you up to return when required. You can book on the Cougar Line Water Taxis, who provide an excellent service.

Because of the remote location, you are on your own. The bach is basic but comfortable and has all that is needed to make your stay enjoyable.
This bach is off grid and operates as a self-sufficient unit; and eco-bach. It has its own water supply, composting toilet, gas fridge, gas hot water for shower and dish washing, solar power for lights and electronics, wood burner and BBQ for cooking and a back-up generator if electricity is needed in an emergency.
Guests need to clean and leave the place tidy for the next guests as there are no cleaning services in this remote area.
