As Jane says "it's like a stay with Grandma"; and I found that to be accurate in many ways. Jane made me feel immediately welcome in her home. Her home was clean, comfortable, and casual. There were many things to read and articles from her many travels and adventures. If you have the time and inclination, Jane will be happy to tell of her many experiences and vast knowledge of plants, birds, and insects. Walking with Jane in her extensive garden is a real treat akin to an arboretum. Sleeping accommodations in the shared room were simple but adequate. Both a dorm style room and private are available, but often occupied by her many travelers looking to enjoy the local natural wonders and take advantage of Jane's hospitality in offering most of the equipment one would need. AirBnB done right!

Staying at Jane's place was a great experience, and I wish I could have stayed longer. Jane is a sweet, interesting lady with a lot of travel under her belt. She was nice enough to share some of her travel tips with me and even let me cook some of her food when I arrived under bad weather conditions without having eaten dinner. She also set out a nice breakfast the next morning and gave me some snacks to take for the road. Her house was clean and quiet. I was upgraded to a private room, which was very nice. Overall, this was one of my favorite air bnb experiences so far.

If you are planning a stay in the Crystal River area staying with Jane is a most! She was the coolest host I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. Not only is her life story amazing but she definitely takes care of her guests. I was only able to stay there one day and Jane helped out with my dog while I was out, feed me a wonderful healthy breakfast and gave me great company while out her home. Thank you Jane for your beautiful hospitality! I will come back to visit again.

The house sits in a very quiet neighborhood, lots of plants and trees around - great place to relax. Breakfast was great, there was plenty to eat and the fresh fruit were delicious!!! Jane was an excellent host, she made me feel right at home and was always very helpful with anything I needed. She knows everything there is to do in the area, you will want to stay longer since there is so much to do. She is very energetic and adventurous, I loved listening to all her travel stories. Thank you for the great hospitality. :)
