Description

The (2) second floor bath and bedrooms in our beautiful home offer comfort and style. In addition we now offer a lst floor suite with private entrance. We are in a suburban neighborhood that is 1 mile from the town center of Northborough.
We have another listing as well if you need space for 2 more guests.

The available rooms were designed and built this year by the owner/architect Tom Reardon. There are windows on three walls of these spacious bedrooms. There are walk-in closets, cork tile floors and fully sound insulated. In addition to the second floor bath and bedrooms we now have available a first floor bedroom which can sleep two with a bath and a private entrance. So we can accommodate anywhere from one to six guests.

Guests will have access to these bedrooms and bath as well as the kitchen which is available at certain hours. A continental breakfast will be provided from 7:30 to 8:30 am. Guests should feel at home and can come and go as they please. We do not have any pets and request that guests not bring pets. Kitchen available ( at certain hours) for continental breakfast. Parking is available in the driveway.

We are early birds and work during most weekdays. On weekends we sleep later. Please feel free to ask us about shopping, restaurants, things to do, etc--we have lived here a long time, so we should be able to answer any of your questions.

Northborough is a small New England town. Our home is in a suburban neighborhood about 1.0 miles from the center of town. The town center has some good restaurants and a few nice stores. The library is in the center of town. For more popular entertainment, we have a 12-theater cinema at the edge of town.
Close by are many amenities to suit all tastes and interests, e.g. skiing and ice fishing in winter; state park with walks, picnic areas and swimming in summer. The rest of the year, there are woods and hiking trails, as well as the Tower Hill and Garden-in-the-Woods botanical gardens. It is a 10 minute walk to town recreation fields and a children's playground. The closest grocery store is Wegman's, 2 miles away.
For those of you who like to shop, the upscale Natick Mall and the Solomon Pond Mall are 20 minutes away (in different directions however!)
Northborough lies close to the intersections of Routes 290 ,( with access to the Mass Pike) Route I 495, Route 9 and Route 20. The town provides the perfect rest spot on your travels. We're 45 minutes from Boston, and/or Logan Airport, although that time will increase during rush hour.
Our house lies 15 minutes' drive from Tufts Veterinary Medical School and 20 minutes from the College of the Holy Cross, Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), Clark University, Worcester State University, Becker College, Assumption College, Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS).
We also live within 20 minutes' drive of the DCU Center and the Hanover Theater in Worcester. Ten minutes in the opposite direction will get you to the starting line for the Boston Marathon in Hopkinton.

If you don't have a car, you can travel from Northborough by Commuter Rail to Boston, Framingham or Worcester. The trains run throughout the day till midnight. The new station, however, lies 5 miles outside the town, which may be a problem for travelers with a lot of luggage.

Complimentary coffee/tea/juice and a continental breakfast is offered in the morning from 7:30 -8:30 am.

Our host made us feel very much at home. They were flexible about check-in and check-out. Since we were driving a distance it was very helpful. The space was perfect! They provided a delicious breakfast each morning that we had not expected. We will definitely want to stay in this exact space when we return to the area. In my opinion It was actually nicer than the pictures.

We had a fantastic time in Debra & Tom's beautifully renovated home! They live in a nice, decent and quiet middle-class neighborhood, the house is beautifully designed, decorated with a good taste and lots of culture. The warm talks with them, and the daily continental breakfast, with so much variety of the fresh fruits, hot coffer and delicious yorgert, etc, was a surprise, and unexpected ! We will definitely recommend this beautiful house to everyone, and will certainly come back next time in the area! - thanks so much, Debra and Tom, you've made our trip a memorable one!

Professional social worker living in Central Massachusetts with Tom Reardon who is an architect. We travel quite a bit and are exploring using this service for the first time. We are quiet and considerate and easy and interesting to be around.
