Happy to assist with enquiries and info on the local area. Please ask if you need something or have any queries.
There usually are 1-2 middle-aged adults staying at the main house but sometimes we are out and about or away for work. We regularly have our own personal guests visiting us.
The neighbourhood is child and dog friendly.
Dog barks, may bark at you but it is all dog love.
We do not provide food. Host will wash your dishes in the main house and empty/collect rubbish.
Pet dog roams freely on property and may bark. Don't leave food out unattended or within reach of the pooch!
The cabin does not have a kitchen (water available in the bathroom). Gas bbq available for cooking. Basic kitchen utensils are provided. No food included - not the 'breakfast' part of BNB.
Lights to the outdoor BBQ area are just inside the bifolds of the main house in the wall near fan.
The property is smack bang between the coast and the bush and there is lots of vegetation around. It's highly likely you'll see bugs or critters about and the cabin can sometimes get a little dusty even though it's clean. The cabin is about 25 years old, the bathroom much older and retro...used, worn or old doesn't mean 'unclean'.
Deer visit rarely, possums and ducks occasionally and cockatoos daily. Animal noises at night are common.
Mobile and data coverage in the area is sporadic and you shouldn't expect full or good coverage. Wifi may not be operating.
Bed linen and bath towels provided. Fresh and clean but I promise not ironed.
There's a small supermarket with liquor section in the village open 8-8 daily, a couple of cafes usually open 8-4ish, the restaurant open for dinner usually requires advance reservation, there is a bistro at the bowling club, a petrol station, newsagents, real estate, gift shop, doctors and post office on week days.
Check the ferry timetable and national parks information online.
Please be law abiding.
Please do not feed the wildlife (cockatoo's, ducks).
Driveway gates to be kept closed.
Rear side red gate to be closed at night.
Towels provided are bath towels, not for use at the beach/swimming/off the property.
Please do not feed the dog unless confirmed ok.
Please do not light fires without permisson.
Check out is 10am unless otherwise arranged with hosts.
Hello, I've been renovating an old Fishermans cottage in Bundeena for a little over 4 years. The cabin (detached from the cottage) is a basic but relaxed and private space in the back yard and perfect for a stay whilst checking out the village, coastline and park, or just good old r&r. We're a pretty friendly neighbourhood, kid and animal friendly! I enjoy the outdoors and feel very privileged to live in this part of the world. Drop me a note if you'd like to clarify anything about the property. Cheers
