We have a newly-built farmhouse with pool, just 5-minutes’ walk away from Xaghra village square. The family room can accommodate up to 2 adults and 2 children. There are 2 adult beds which can fit together, a smaller single and a foldaway bed.
St Agnes Bed & Breakfast is in the village of Xaghra on the beautiful Mediterranean island of Gozo in the Maltese Archipelago. Situated in a quiet, typically Gozitan alleyway, the accommodation offers peace and serenity all year round yet it is only a 5 minute walk from the village square with a multitude of quality restaurants, cafes, bars and shops.

We have our own south-facing private pool and deck area with a BBQ for the use of guests. There is an honesty bar on the guest floor with water, beer and wine available. We have 2 bicycles and safety helmets for hire, along with loads of local information guides and maps.
We pride ourselves on our breakfasts which are tailored to guests' requirements. Breakfast options include full cooked English, Continental, scrambled eggs with or without smoked salmon, omelettes, poached eggs and bacon, cereals, toast, bread and yoghurt. Vegetarian/vegan/special diets can be catered for. Wherever possible, we serve the freshest local ingredients. We source our eggs in the village, cheese from our neighbour, hand-made preserves from a farmer's market, honey from a local producer and fruit and vegetables from Gozitan farmers.
We are no smoking throughout except by the private pool. We have 2 friendly cats that don't venture into guest rooms.
We are on-hand to answer any questions you may have. If we go out, you can call us on our mobile at any time. We can provide free transfers to and from the ferry terminal on Gozo, and arrange transfers from Malta International Airport to the ferry terminal on Malta. If you want to hire a car, we will happily assist you with this if required. There are bus-stops in the village square, a 5 minute walk away.
I have lived on Gozo for over 9 years, and know the island well. A real foodie, I love to cook with local ingredients using the freshest seasonal produce. Being an animal lover, I have actively volunteered with Gozo SPCA since I arrived and am their magazine Editor.
I fell in love with Gozo back in the 1990's, as did my parents who retired here from a cold and wet Lancashire, UK in 2002. I found my way to Gozo in 2006. From 2006-2012 I worked as PR Manager/Director in Malta, but decided to give all that up. Since then, I have worked as a Veterinary Assistant and as a Sous Chef, before setting up our B&B.
David and I look forward to welcoming you into our home, and wish to make your stay on the island as comfortable as possible.
