Le logement

Built in 1910, this amazing 3 story home has modern amenities with turn of the century charm & character. This family home is conveniently located within walking distance of Forest Park, the famed Delmar Loop, & Washington University.

Only available for long-term (6 or more months) rental. Sorry, no groups of students or unrelated folks.

Great for single families who are new to the area and aren't ready to buy or professionals working on long-term, but temporary, projects or residencies.

We will meet you at the house and show you around the house, and if desired, the neighborhood and environs.

Our beautiful home is within walking distance to "One of the 10 great streets in America", the Delmar Loop, where you can catch a concert at The Pageant or The Duck Room in Blueberry Hill or have a casual or upscale meal. Walk through the neighborhood with gated access to The Loop to explore half a dozen coffee shops. Mostly locally-owned shops and restaurants. Our favorite place to eat is Mission Taco, but new restaurants open all the time. Soon The Loop will have trolly access!

-Walking distance to The Delmar Loop ( (Website hidden by Airbnb)
-Walking distance to Washington University Danforth campus
-Walking distance to famed Forest Park, host to the 1904 World's Fair. The 1,300 acre park is home to the Zoo, Science Center, History Museum, Art Museum, Golf course, skating rink, tennis center & so much more. (Website hidden by Airbnb)
-Walking distance to Metro station (public transportation) which can take you to the airport or to downtown attractions such as Busch stadium, the Arch, the City Museum, the America's convention center, and many other attractions.
-Easy access to Forest Park Parkway and HW 64/40.
-5 min. drive to Barnes Jewish Hospital.

-Our home is in a historic neighborhood in a beautiful and safety-patrolled neighborhood.

-The house feels big, and it is, at 3700 sq. feet with ten foot ceilings. Virtually all the rooms are larger than you would expect, and we've been known to text each other if we're on different floors.

-Two unfurnished bedrooms

-Our cats have not inhabited the space for months, and we have cleaned the house extensively several times, but be aware there may be cat dander for any folks who are allergic.
-Smoking on the outside porches only. No smoking inside, because, gross.

-Full washer/dryer & drying racks in basement
-ceramic tile, stainless steel &/or granite in kitchen & bathrooms
-two refrigerators (one in basement)
-Our kids demolish wine glasses so we just gave up. If you can only drink your wine in the appropriate glass, please bring your own. No hard feelings.
-double Dacor oven
-6 burner Dacor gas stovetop
-a back and a front staircase
-hardwood floors throughout
-operational gas fireplace in living room
-steamer shower on 2nd floor
-Four people can go to the bathroom at the same time!
-sit down seating for 16 before you have to bust out a card table for the kids

-We have ample pillows, bedding & blankets.

This was a great experience. Communication was proactive and helpful. For example, they alerted us about a cat living there when it wasn't being rented in case anyone was allergic. Jen and Kevin were flexible around our schedule both coming and going. We had a group of nine i…
