This is a great place to stay in Reykjavik. Both being just a couple, or when having kids with you. Communication with the hosts are quick, accurate, and very helpful. Jean-Didier even helped us arranging trips, and giving lots of helpful advices. Really genuinely caring about our experience to be good. It's a bakery close to the house for grabbing some breakfast, and for all trips there is a pickup place at a hotel 4-5 min walk from the house. All very convenient when wanting to explore Iceland. Getting to the city center takes like 10-15 minutes, but there is really no problem since the walk is a beautiful one around the small lake introducing Reykjavik. House is very clean, comfortable, and welcoming with all amentities you might wish for. We didnt need anything else, but if you would I'm sure the hosts would help you with that. House also have a great outdoor hottub which makes the cherry on the cake of the experience in Reykjavik. All in all great place to stay, with helpful and welcoming hosts!

Jean Didier and Stefania are very good hosts. We had a lovely stay in their cozy house. Everything was very clear and instructions were available to use TV, Speaker or washing machine. They also helped us finding routes, shops and activities around. I would highly recommend them!! Thank you again, Laura

We had a great stay at Jean-Didier's place - it is very well suited for a family with children and just a short walk from Reykjavik downtown (1,5 km). It is clean and as a bonus a hot tub in the garden which is great relaxation after a long day sight seeing :-) Further Jean-Didier's wife was very helpful when our son got sick and we needed to see a doctor. I can fully recommend Jean-Didier's place!

We loved staying at Jean Didiers place. We were 4 friends who spent the weekend in Reyjkavik- our flight on the friday was delayed 3 hours- Jean Didier was nice enough to fill up the hot tub for us for our arrival and all the beds were made. The apartement is just a short walk into downtown in a great location. I highly recommend staying with Jean Didier, an extra plus for the Hot Tub on the terrace - which made our stay even more enjoyable!

French born and raised, fell in love with Iceland and one of its inhabitants back in 2004. We decided to move to the ice-cube in 2007, and we now have 3 wonderful children together. Business school background with a Master Degree in logistics and purchasing, I'm currently working in tourism (much more fun), where I share my passion for this country, trying to create a memorable experience for each person that comes to Iceland. Big sport enthusiast, love the outdoors, but also good food and wine.
