Sitting on the deck along the trout-stocked river is relaxing and peaceful. The home has a "great room" with cathedral ceiling and a very large fireplace with a fully exposed stone wall. The kitchen is modern without detracting from the home's charm. Great attention has been paid to the landscaping as well with many gardens on the property. There is also a large bamboo grove on the 2.5 acres.

Guests have full access to the property.I do have 2 mountain bikes that can be rented, helmets and water bottles included.

The home abuts the South Branch of the Raritan River which is stocked with trout. The yard has lots of outdoor seating including a patio and seating on the deck alongside the river. Neighboring properties include a home on the foundation of a sawmill and the stone homes that the blacksmith and mill families lived in.

One mile to the start of the 15 mile Columbia Trail for biking or hiking. Most of the trail corridor parallels the South Branch of the Raritan River. (URL HIDDEN)
Shop-Rite supermarket is 1/2 mile from the house.
15 minutes to historic Waterloo Village.

Interested in sharing the property that I pride myself on remodeling. My hobbies include gardening/landscaping, and this is evident in the photos you will see here. I enjoy all that the area has to offer (biking the rail bed trail), photography (countryside nearby), visiting county parks, etc. My favorite travel destinations are US National Parks.
