Fully furnished & equipped 2 level 1 BR with short walks to Harvard & Porter Sq. Set back in a quite side street. Proximity to Hi-Rise bakery, restaurants and bars. Unit has a separate entrance through patio unique to the unit. Free on street parking.
This addition to the main house, is a dedicated guest apartment and as such, it is very clean and uncluttered, so it will feel like your own space and you don't have to be afraid of invading someone's privacy.
Picture this: You spend a day outside, in Cambridge and Boston, exploring all the different shops, restaurants and cafes around the area.
You explored the broad variety of Harvard's book stores, had some coffee, people watched, maybe did one of the fun themed history city tours. Now it is time to go back home, to relax in this cosy and quiet apartment, take off your shoes, kick back on the comfy couch and reminisce about the great day you had.
Sink into the couch, take a nap, watch a movie, read a little, have
something to drink, maybe listen to some music while figuring out what to do next. Going for dinner is within convenient distance: Armando's pizza is a 5 min walk away, Gran Gusto - the best Italian around just a 10min walk, Wholefoods is only 5 minutes away by car, 10 minutes by bus.
The apartment is a two level loft with a dedicated living area and a second level bed room, where you can snuggle in at night and rest to be re-energized for the next day. The full bathroom is on the main level and provides you with all the amenities you need during your stay.
The bedroom has a new queen bed and is situated under the roof, which makes it super cozy. In the warm summer nights you can open both, the skylight and the window to get the nice night breeze.
Although we love children, this is not the right apartment for families with kids and small children.
The coffee machine (Nespresso machine) and microwave are brand new, so you can kick off the day right. We stock the basics for you (tea, coffee and sugar), so you can get set up before hitting the city or have a little snack after a break.
Accès des voyageurs
Guests have access to the entire apartment. Unfortunately the apartment
is not handicapped accessible.
Échanges avec les voyageurs
I will meet guests whenever possible, answer any questions, address any concerns, or make suggestions about places to go, ways to get there etc.
We have a code lock, so the check in and check out process is very smooth and independent of arrival time.
The sofa is a pullout couch and can be used as separate sleeping option. Please let me know in advance, if you need a second set of sheets.
Please note, this doesn't mean, that the place is suitable for more than 2 people.
Please do not smoke in the apartment and respect the neighbors.
Please check that lights are turned off and the heating is turned down before you leave, same with the air conditioner in the summer.
As we live in a residential area, please respect the neighbors and try to be as quiet as possible during especially night hours.
No parties or loud groups allowed as we are connected to neighbors.
Please note that this apartment is not suitable for families with kids and small children/babies.
Moved to the USA in 2012 and fell in love with Boston and the area around. Love the seasons, the summer sun at the beach and the snowy and cold winters.
