The house although built in 1780 is fully modernised and extremely comfortable.

A spacious and comfortable 18th century home that is set in the heartland of rural England, surrounded by the Malvern Hills. This beautiful family home has a large garden, tennis court and fields which are home to two very special donkeys and ducks.

This is an ideal location for anyone wanting to visit the Welsh marches and onwards to Wales; Cheltenham, Stratford Upon Avon, Ludlow, Hereford (Mappa Mundi) or simply to enjoy the local scenery and walks on the Malvern Hills

The accommodation is extremely comfortable and cosy, three double bedrooms and a twin room, there are two bathrooms. Main line station to London Paddington is 5 miles away. Open log fires blaze in the winter and in the summer the gardens are at their best.

If the calendar is blocked off do contact me, as I may well be able to accommodate you, I have blocked out work commitments and these are not set in stone.

I live in one end of the house and there is a resident dog (or two that live outside the house) but they are extremely sociable and would welcome visiting furry friends. As long as the visiting furry friends are happy to sleep in the utility room. This is a relaxed house and a perfect spot for a getaway peaceful stay.

You are welcome to use the kitchen but I will need notice of this. There is a large sitting room with a fire and a cosy snug with a television to use in the evenings if you decide to stay in.

Additional meals/cooking available by prior arrangement.

The accommodation is let on a bnb basis - it is not an entire house to rent as it is a private home. Guests are encouraged to get out and about to enjoy the local area during the day by 11.30 a.m. There are good pubs and places to eat within easy reach, but a car is essential.

There will be a warm welcome from Liz but unless you need some tips on the local area she will leave you to your own devices, there is plenty of space in the house for yourself and Liz who go's on the understanding that you are here to enjoy and explore the area. She will do all that she can to help you to achieve what ever your reason for staying may be.

Incredible walks and views through unspoilt rural England are on the doorstep. Great local pubs, castles and village/towns to explore. Not forgetting the River Wye and hiring a canoe . All these options are within a relatively easy journey.

Malvern Link train station which has direct services from London is a 10 min taxi ride.

Breakfast is Liz's take on a continental breakfast, with healthy additions and also the option of Marge and Maude's freshly laid eggs.

Liz is a fantastic cook and meals are available by separate arrangement. If you would like to know more about 'eating in' Liz is very happy to discuss a menu to suit your personal needs/taste, she has a large kitchen garden and is keen to use local produce wherever possible.

Well, I live in the rural peace of Worcestershire looking out at the Malvern Hills. I have plenty of space to keep chickens, ducks, dogs and donkeys. I work in a local Prep School which occupies my time during the various academic terms.
I travel when I have the time, destinations varied.
The basics of life's pleasures are probably fairly high on my list of enjoyments. Reading, enjoy preparing food/ cooking (and eating) Enjoy sharing reviews of books and films. As I have several enegetic four legged friends that need and love a some exercise, I have a good knowledge of local walks. I am fairly easy going and enjoy meeting people and exchanging /sharing views on just about anything. Hasta la vista.
