This freshly renovated and stylish one bedroom apartment is in the middle of East Melbourne on Hotham Street - one of Melbourne's finest addresses with a variety of Federation mansions, elegant terrace houses and million-dollar apartments. The apartment is mere minutes from the centre of Melbourne and major attractions are nearby. It's ideal for professionals working in the city or at one of the nearby hospitals, or those coming to Melbourne for special events... and it's all yours.

The apartment has a brand new kitchen with modern appliances (cooktop, oven), dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave oven, kettle, toaster. You'll find all cooking utensils, a dinner setting and cutlery.

The living room is spacious with large windows and access to a small, secure balcony. Comfy sofa sits near the big screen plasma TV. The large double bed is located in the bedroom along with ample clothing storage space.

In the bathroom you'll find the washing machine, shower/bath and toilet. There's also an ironing board and iron.

The apartment includes secure parking. Broadband wifi, local and STD calls are included at no extra cost (Use of illegal peer-to-peer or torrent download services is specifically prohibited). All utilities are included (fair-use policy applies to electricity so please don't run aircon or heating 7x24). Weekly/fortnightly cleaning can be arranged for an additional charge.
RESERVATIONS POLICY: Guests reserving this apartment may be checked into any one of our three apartments at 86 Hotham Street, East Melbourne. They are listed as (1), (2) and (3). All three apartments are in the same building, just along the hall from each other. All apartments are freshly renovated and offer the same standard of finish and features. If you wish for a specific apartment, please advise at time of booking.

The entire apartment is all yours. Make yourself at home!

We'll check you in (although self check-in is also available). We live nearby, so if issues arise we can usually drop around (unless we're off travelling). You can reach us easily and quickly by email (best) or telephone.

What's East Melbourne like? It's a stunning suburb. Separated from the city by two beautiful public gardens, you can relax as you walk the wide tree-lined streets, admiring the Victorian and Federation buildings. Relax in the Powlett Reserve or on Darling Square. Smile a friendly greeting at the people you pass, grab a morning coffee from the George Street cafe, enjoy an afternoon vino in the Fitzroy Gardens. Shopping at the discount designer outlets in Richmond, dinner at a fabulous Asian restaurant on Victoria street... it's all at your doorstep!

Public transport is very close and very convenient. Wellington Parade and Victoria Street both offer very regular tram services to the city and suburbs. Tram stops and the Jolimont train station are less than 2 minutes walk!

(1) We try to avoid gaps in our calendar. This means we can't always accept short bookings more than a few weeks in advance unless they follow-on from an existing booking or fill an otherwise vacant block. Check the calendar, and feel free to reach out with your requirements. We'll advise the best rate possible.

(2) Electricity, gas, water and internet broadband are included in the rate BUT SUBJECT TO FAIR USE by the guest. Electricity usage in excess of 14.5 kWh per day will incur an extra charge at the rate of AUD0.26 per kWh. Sufficient broadband is provided for normal usage (email, surfing, youtube, (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) etc) but data-intensive use may result in the internet speed being shaped. Use of illegal peer-to-peer or torrent download services is specifically prohibited.

(1) Let us know if you have any questions. We'll provide whatever extra information you need and will be happy to assist with your arrival arrangements if needed.
(2) In the apartment you'll find a detailed property guide including helpful hints, location guide for shops/transport, and apartment inclusions. We'll email this to you on confirmation of your booking.
(3) The apartment is newly refurbished and looking great, so please take care of the property, fittings and furnishings. The guest is responsible for any loss or damage to the apartment and inclusions (other than reasonable wear and tear).
(4) The apartment will be spotlessly clean when you move in. As a courtesy to the next guest, we appreciate your assistance in keeping the apartment clean and tidy.
(5) Please do NOT use towels or bed linen to remove make-up or buff your shoes. We acknowledge some guests do this with their own towels/linen, but we like to provide sparkling white towels/linen and it takes a LOT of cleaning effort to remove make-up, shoe polish and other stains. If towels/linen are stained in this way, we reserve the right to make a security deposit claim covering professional cleaning or the replacement cost.
(6) Any problems whatsoever, contact us on one of the emergency numbers or email addresses provided in the apartment. We live nearby and will provide speedy service if we're around.
