À propos de ce logement
Wren Eagle Retreat, a secluded Chillicothe, Ohio vacation rental, is nestled in an oak, hickory, and maple forest with beautiful winter views of southern Ohio ridges with no other habitation in view. Remote, yet within 5 miles of Chillicothe
With beautiful cathedral windows that let in lots of light, the passive solar design shades these south-facing windows with oak trees in the summer. But, after the leaves fall all the late fall and winter sun comes in warming the area. The wood stove insert can heat the entire space. In the summer, you can sun on the open deck, or sit in the shade of the covered deck and let its ceiling fan keep the mosquitoes away. No repellent needed there! The main bedroom has plenty of space and will soon have a full bathroom. Right now it has a toilet and washer/dryer. The main bath has a shower, vanity, and toilet, and jetted tub. The tub will be relocated to the main bedroom and a shower added to it.
Two grills offer opportunities to grill your food al fresco and the firepit is fun for roasting hot dogs and marshmallows. And a grassy area provides plenty of space for playing ball, croquet, volleyball, badminton, or many other outdoor games.

Well-mannered, housebroken dogs are allowed on the main floor only. Dogs are not allowed on the furniture at any time. A maximum of three dogs are permitted, although some breeds of dogs may not be allowed to stay. All dogs must be brushed out of doors before entering. All dog excrement must be properly disposed.

I love the woods, the quiet, the trees, the flora, the fauna. That's why I bought this place for our vacations and why I share it. Given my choice, I will always choose trees! We love the hills, the historic First Capitol area of Chillicothe, the Hopewell and Adena mound areas, Adena Mansion, The Chillicothe Paints baseball team, Fort Hill, Tecumseh, the Tri County Triangle Bicycle Path, and the close by natural areas: Scioto Trail State Park and Forest, Ross Lake Wildlife Refuge, Great Seal State Park, Buzzard's Roost Nature Preserve, the Amish and Mennonite stores near Bainbridge, and, of course, the Buckeye Trail.
