**Must feed our cute cats while we are gone, we will give you a discount! Thanks :)

Our apartment is notably large for NYC, and the rooms are the biggest we've had so far in the 3+ years we've lived here. It's a railroad-style layout, with the two bedrooms on opposite sides of the middle communal area - which includes the kitchen, living/dining area, and shared bathroom.

Kitchen amenities: stove, oven, dishes, small appliances (blender, juicer, waffle maker and food processor), spice racks, etc.

Living room: couch, dining table, record player, etc.

Bathroom space: we have 1 bathroom with a shower/bath, regular sink, toilet, and space for your toiletries. Towels will be provided. Let us know if you forgot any toiletries - it's most likely we can find stuff for you to use!

If you have any other requests, don't hesitate to ask! We'd love to help out when we can.

Check out the Guidebook for our recommendations! So many great places to check out around Bushwick if you want to stay in the neighborhood. We also really love Bed-Stuy, the neighborhood directly south of us by a few blocks - across Broadway. The two neighborhoods are totally different worlds, but both have a lot of culture, beauty, and cool places to check out.

WALKING
You can easily walk around to any place in Bushwick in about 20 minutes or less, a standard (or short) walk for most New Yorkers.

SUBWAY
We're a close walk to 3 different subway lines, so access around the city is a lot more manageable than some other places that might only have 1 nearby subway stop.
- 5 min. walk to the J train (station at Gates Ave.)
- 10 min. walk to the L train (station at Myrtle-Wyckoff)
- 10 min. walk to the M training (same as above - the Myrtle-Wyckoff stop)

*** NOTE: Feel free to ask us for help if you're not familiar with the NYC subways, or subway systems in general! It can be confusing, so we don't mind helping out at all. Biggest tip: use the (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) Maps app if you have a smartphone; GPS can work for you even if your cellular service is turned off (while underground or using an out-of-country phone.)

BUS
We have a number of bus lines nearby - you just need to find the route needed on (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) Maps. Tip: Make sure you either have exact change (I think it's $2.75 per trip now) or a metrocard with at least a 1-ride fare.

CAR
Street parking is very available around us compared to other neighborhoods in NYC. Just make sure to pay attention to the street signs! (You'll have to move your car at least 2 times if here for a full week or more due to street cleaning.)

If you want to get a car2go account (which is free - we think!), you could easily find ones just outside our place or a few blocks away. They're always around.

**Our cats were rescued off the street, so they're pretty grateful, and thus - more affectionate than most cats.

TRAVEL TIPS
If you have any questions or want suggestions for your stay - we're glad to help out! We have an NYC tourist guidebook you can borrow, and probably some maps lying around as well. Feel free to let us know your interests (e.g. foodies, music lovers, art appreciators, first-time tourists, frequent visitors, etc.) and we'll probably be able to provide some great suggestions with local insight.

Règlement intérieur
L'heure d'entrée dans les lieux est 14:00 - 00:00.

No smoking of cigarettes inside apartment and we live in a quiet building so please no parties~ ! Thanks for understanding!

I've lived in Bushwick for 4+ years, and it's still my favorite neighborhood in all of NYC.

I am a social worker and work in the neighborhood. I love bike riding, camping, making/eating tacos, growing succulents, listening to music, and going on adventures.

I enjoy meeting visitors to New York and sharing tips on the most worthwhile things to check out here. Let me know if you have any questions!
