We offer a quiet beach themed room with its own bathroom separate from the hosts. It is on the top floor of a centrally located Victorian white stucco house which has been interior designed in a clean and contemporary style.

We offer a quiet beach themed room, to get you in the seaside mood, on the top floor of our classic Brighton Victorian white stucco house which has been extensively refurbished to a very high standard.

Guests have their own bathroom (with separate shower) separate from the hosts.
This is located on the same floor as two guest bedrooms. Most of the time, guests will have sole access to the top floor and the bathroom, however, occasionally we may have friends staying in the other guest bedroom who will also share the bathroom.

IMPORTANT: if sharing a bathroom is a problem please make this clear at the time of booking, we will tell you if anyone else is staying and also try to keep the other room free. Just ask us!

Guests also have access to the kitchen and the rear patio garden. You are welcome to help yourself to tea and coffee in the kitchen and you can also use the kitchen for making light snacks.

All towels and bed linen are provided.

Standard check in during the week is 7pm mainly because we both work in London. We can sometimes accommodate an earlier check-in so please let us know if this is required.

Check in on Friday's and weekends is more flexible.

We like to give guests the privacy they need to fully unwind and enjoy Brighton but we are always on hand to make recommendations or provide advice.

During the week we are out at work from very early in the morning until 7pm in the evening so the chances are you will have the place to yourself. At the weekends we are around more, and it's not unheard of to have guests joining us for a nightcap if our path's cross.

We live on a very quiet street lined with Victorian, white stucco fronted townhouses, typically Brighton in style. It is a very safe area 3 minutes from Brighton railway station with everything you could need close by.

The North Laine is 5 minutes walk away where you can make the most of the cosmopolitan cafe culture or browse the quirky and colourful independant shops and boutiques. Walk a few minutes further and discover the Lanes which is a fabulous maze of twisting alleyways offering an extraordinary mix of antiques and jewellery shops nestling alongside specialist contemporary and designer boutique fashion. Finally the seafront with the famous Palace Pier is about 15 minutes walk away.

Brighton attracts an eclectic crowd making it an ideal destination for young people and older generations alike. It is widely regarded as one of the most bohemian and fashionable cities in the UK with its laid-back, effortlessly cool vibe.

Parking and driving in Brighton (especially at the weekends) is not easy. Brighton is a great walking city so you are unlikely to need your car whilst here. We strongly recommend that guests take the train, especially as we are only 3 minutes walk from the station.

We operate on a minimum two night basis on a single or double occupancy basis (maximum 2 people). We do not accept children under the age of 12 years. For larger parties we can offer both rooms on the top floor, please ask at the time of booking.

Staying at Rich's and Mike's place was great - the communication in beforehand was excellent and immediate. We only got to know Rich, who was very welcoming and friendly. The house is perfectly located: it takes only about 2 minutes from the train station and a few minutes walking distance to the beach. Our room was beautiful as well as comfortable and we had the bathroom on our own. Our personal highlight was eating breakfast on the sunny terrace.

Rich & Mike were very accommodating with checkin times (prearranged). Room was clean, bed was ..firm and the bath was huge!

Rich and Mike are the BEST!!! The made me feel right at home. Checked on me daily which I truly appreciated. This was my very first time in Europe I was traveling by myself. They gave me directions and routes to and from the locations I needed to go to. They are the BEST HOSTS EVER!!! They are literally right by the train station. I could not have picked a place! This was my first time ever using Airbnb and I truly had a great experience! I am coming back and staying with them!

This was our second stay and it was as excellent as last time. Rich and Mike are great hosts and their home is beautiful. I would highly recommend it!!

I definitely had a great munication was excellent since the beginning. I had a couple of special requests which they accommodated promptly, namely an earlier check-in on the arrival date and the possibility to use the kitchen to prepare my own food. The whole flat was immaculately clean, very nicely furnished and with a modern, amazingly equipped kitchen. Rich took some time to show me around upon my arrival and explained me all I needed to know to enjoy my stay there. Both Mike and Rich were off Brighton most of the time but checked in on me several times throughout my stay to make sure that everything was fine. The convenience of the location is second to none, the flat being only a short walk from the train station, yet it's absolutely quiet at any time of day and night. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these two great hosts to anyone looking for a clean, reasonably priced, great quality accommodation in Brighton!

We both live in Brighton and work in London. Much of our working week is spent in transit between both cities but it is worth it to live in such a fabulous city.

We completely renovated our Victorian town house approximately 2 years ago and we started doing AirBnB shortly after we moved back in following the renovations.

In that time we have met lots of fabulous and colourful people and we have had many fun times and laughs along the way with some of our guests who have stayed with us. We are happy for guests to join us if our paths cross socially, however at the same time we respect the importance of privacy and giving guests the space they need to enable them to relax, unwind and get the most out of their stay - whatever their reason for coming to our city.
