Nice little space. Everything was very clean and tidy when we arrived. The shower was lovely. There is no drinkable water in the home so you have to boil it before use. I expected the "luxury" of drinking water given the slightly higher price - perhaps some water bottles could be…

Hi Katherine, Thank you so much for your feedback & review. We hope you had a wonderful stay. Tasmania has some of the freshest drinking/ rain water in the world, but we are requested by the Taswater authority to advise guests that it is untreated, this means there is no fluoride or chlorine in the water. For this reason we have supplied boiled water for anyone uncomfortable with drinking untreated fresh rainwater. It is a bit frustrating, as we residents all drink the rain water and it is so lovely to drink. Alternatively, there is a big 8 litre water urn there that we supply for you to drink which has plenty of boiled water in it. Again thank you for your feedback, it is lovely to hear you had a great time. We hope to see you back again.
Accurate to descriptions but keep in mind as per other reviews- no breakfast provided and not many grocers open late around there (milk and nespresso is though). We were eaten alive by half a dozen mosquitoes and no bug spray around and also a power outage affecting the whole eas…

Hi Arthur, Thank you for your feedback, we always like to hear how guests have found their stay and to look at any way we can improve our services. We do not advertise that we are a bed & breakfast, guests are reserving a fully self contained holiday house. I think there is some confusion with guests thinking because you are booking though "Airbnb" that all accommodation is an actual bed and breakfast? But most properties now listed in Tasmania on Airbnb are actually self contained holiday houses. There are a lot of mosquitos that come out at night, unfortunately that is the case in a lot of places in Tasmania in rural / forest areas. It is important for guests to leave doors / screen doors closed at night. We do supply insect spray, I'm not sure if we missed supplying that, but we will ensure it is there in future. Regarding the power outage, this was only from 10am to 3pm and this is not something that happens very often. Apologies we were inundated with calls from guests in 45+ properties asking what was happening, we were also trying to get an answer from the electrical company, therefore there may have been a delay in responding to you. There was drinking water in the urn provided and we were glad that it was only 5 hours of no power. Apologies if this spoiled your holiday, we hope you did enjoy this special region and this unique studio.
