Located 2 hours by boat off the mainland at Belize City. Mere minutes from the Blue Hole. Eco private island. Beach is literally 30 feet in front of the house. Best diving or snorkeling in the Caribbean. Very isolated, an oasis for the soul. No roads, cars and not many people! An unspoiled eden. The perfect place to drop out and breathe.
Boat to island is 125 US per person (250 round trip) and payable to the captain day of travel. Boats depart to the island on Wednesday and Saturdays only.
Two bedrooms with Queen beds. Shared bathroom. Huge kitchen, great for parties. Living room and dining room. Front veranda and deck. House is lifted 10 feet off the ground on stilts. Amazing views.
There are NO STORES on the island. After booking, we will determine what your food menu is and bring to the island with you. You can also choose to eat at the resorts instead of cooking at the house.
We do not have air conditioning, because we don't need it. The house is on the east side of the island and the breeze is constant 98% of the year. It gets cold at night with the breeze, we have blankets for all the beds.
On our profile it says that we cancelled on someone 3 days prior to their arrival - we did that so his money would be refunded. Otherwise my cancellation policy would penalize him. He had a real medical emergency with his family, so we made an exception. But we didn't actually just cancel on him 3 days on an international trip - that would be crappy!!! LOL.

This is the perfect place for guests that want to escape the "real" world. It is very secluded. Perfect place to reconnect with a loved one or discover a space without noise. The most amazing sunrise, sunsets and star gazing you will ever experience in your life.
Home is well cared for, guests are expected to leave it in the same condition they arrive to. All garbage must either be recycled with the Itza Resort or burned in the burn barrel. (Guideline and instructions on premises)
