Description
Description

Set in a super quite street in the buzzing and trendy Brixton area, will offer you a true experience of London.

This is a large traditional English house in south of London.
The listing is for a spacious, very peaceful bedroom on the top floor of the house. The room has been recently redecorated with the view of our lovely garden where you will also have access to it.

Furthermore, we have two shower-rooms in the house (one with a bath tub), and three toilets - one on each floor of the house to your best comfort. There is also a lovely living room to relax in with all the usual bits and pieces of a home: TV, wifi, books, laundry facilities, a large garden with flowers AND a handy off-street parking for your car, if you may have one).

There is plenty of space in the house plus a big garden to relax in and go for a smoke. And if you need a break from eating out, fresh home-cooked dinner can be rustled up.

The price shown is for single occupancy, although we can accommodate up to 5 guests at one time if the rooms are all available, that includes standard breakfast (tea/coffee, toast and cereals).

A great location for accessing central London within 15 minutes. Easy access to the public transport, shops, fine dining, bars etc.

Please note that this is one of two listings, as we have 2 double rooms available to airbnb guests as well.

Very much looking forward to hear from you.
Lots of love,
Maria

I will be in to welcome you at the time of your stay and I'm happy to take you around the area and show you the best of what Brixton has to offer.

Brixton is über-desirable in its own right with a new generation of young and affluent fashion-conscious professionals, city commuters, creative people and other media types who live here adding to the cosmopolitan mix of London's inhabitants. Brixton has long been home to London's Afro Caribbean community, but then let’s not forget the Vietnamese, Chinese, Middle Eastern, poets, musicians, artists, activists, anarchists and bohemians, any of whom, potentially, could lay claim to owe SW9.

Brixton has a lively and eclectic vibrant day life and an equally vibrant night life in the plethora of pubs, clubs and restaurants that line its streets. It has a buzzing market and big music venues, including the 02 Brixton Academy, Electric Brixton and the warehouse-style Plan B.

Brixton's restaurants are contemporary and serve an array of international fare; Brixton Village market – has been transformed into a bustling day and evening shopping precinct with more than 20 shops, cafes and restaurants. On top of this, there's the Ritzy Cinema, a windmill and Brockwell Park - a large, historic park with ornamental ponds, formal flower beds, a walled 'Old English' herbaceous flower garden and a charming 19th century clock tower, including Brockwell Hall and the Brockwell Lido.

Located at the end of the Victoria line, on the border of zones two and three, Brixton is a mere 10-minute commute into central London. Bus links are also choice.
The location is ideal for fast commuting to any part of the city on any mode of public transport. Brixton Tube has fast tubes into Victoria, 4 stations away, within 12mins and to Oxford Circus 6 stations away within 15mins. There are 4 overground train stations to all parts of London and beyond all less than a mile from the house. The train lines are Connex, Thames Link, Southern and SouthEast.
There are also lots of buses to all parts of London going to ALL major sights on a single bus ride (London Eye, Big ben, Westminister Abbey, Downing St, Nelson's Column, Trafalgar Square, National Gallery, Covent Garden, Oxford-,Regent-, Carnaby Street, Marble Arch, Hyde Park and Paddington Basin as well as to Waterloo-, Liverpool Street-, London Bridge-, Blackfriars-, Euston-, King's Cross and St Pancrass International Station.
