Adrien was a a very sweet guest. I was away for work and did not get to meet him but communication was very smooth. Everything was great until the last day, when he checked out at 11pm. I had agreed with him that he could definitely check out as late as needed as the cleaning lady would only come in the next day. And when she did, this is is when she found my studio in a terrible condition. I was not in Paris but she called me saying the flat was left in a very bad condition, asking if I could postpone the next check in. I have known her for the past 2 years now and she never asked this from me. Luckily the next check in was a very good friend coming over for a few days and not an Airbnb guest. The cleaning lady felt reassured, worked for 5 hours on the day and came in early the next day for another 3 hours. She said the kitchen looked kind of ok at a first glance but then noticed all the surfaces were left sticky, the walls, the floor, and that the bathroom was definitely not cleaned in the past 2 months. She found short hair everywhere, even by the window, had to clean the white sofa cover in the laundry, etc. I understand Adrien is a young busy student but I offered that the cleaning lady pass by at least once in the 2 months, with no response on the matter. The 25€ cleaning fees are definitely for short stays, after a week or so and not for a 2 months period and although Adrien kindly left 20€ extra, my cleaning lady had to come in twice for 5 and 3 hours to scrub everything and put back the place as it was given to Adrien at his check in.
