Cabin is in the perfect location, steps to skiing, restaurants, or shopping. Completely remodeled in 2015, this historic home provides all the comforts to keep you warm, comfortable, well fed, and entertained. Perfect for families and friends.
$25 extra charge per person over 4 does not apply to minors. No smoking, and if you smoke outside, do not litter with butts. No pets.
The house was built in the 1960's and is a traditional A-frame design. A massive remodel was done in 2015, adding an additional first floor, two bedrooms and a bath.
The cabin is well insulated, with an EPA approved wood stove and propane high efficiency furnace. There is also a Rheem instant hot water heater, so guests will not go without hot water.
The first floor has a laundry room, bath with stand-up custom tiled shower, sauna, small TV-area/desk, and two bedrooms. The TV area has a small couch and beanbag chair, and a 32" HD flatscreen with DVD player. It is the "kid's" area. During the winter, the first floor, will be completely enclosed by snow.
The second floor is a great room design. It has the main living room, kitchen, dining space, and bathroom. The bath as a customer shower and separate soaking tub. The living room has two sitting areas, one specific to TV watching. There is also a large Restoration Hardware down couch for watching TV or reading by the fire.
Kitchen is equipped with a Summit refrigerator, propane Viking range with hood, and Bosch dishwasher. There is a farm style apron sink, and open shelving for kitchen essentials. Other amenities include toaster, coffee maker, coffee press, food processor, milkshake maker, blender, microwave, and just about anything else you need to cook.
The third floor is an open loft. It has a queen bed and twin futon lounger that can be folded out into a bed (for when the toddler is too scared to sleep downstairs alone).
All rooms have fans, and there are three space heaters in the event individual guests get cold. All beds have bed heaters. The queen beds have feather beds. All beds have 550-fill power down comforters.
There is an extensive DVD collection (roughly 100-titles), along with Netflix streaming. No local channels or cable. There is a DVD player downstairs and a Bluray player upstairs. There is also a phone jack that allows you to play your phone or Pandora through the house stereo. The house stereo consists of an 8 speaker system on the second floor.
There is a deck off the second floor for relaxing on nice days. There is a deck on the entry that has a skilift chair swing and firewood for the wood stove.
Spring special. Inquire about stays 5 nights or more.

Owners are available by phone or email. There is a "real person" to help on our street who also does all check-in/check-out services, cleaning, etc.
This is truly a great location. You are so close to town and skiing that you can leave your car parked and walk everywhere.
This is a family home. Please be respectful of neighbors and of the house. Have fun but don't thrash the place. No pets. Do not touch chairlift in main room as it is decorative and not meant for hanging/swinging. Children should be supervised in upstairs loft due to fall danger.

We are a family of three. Our daughter is 7-years-old and is starting second grade. We love traveling and the outdoors, but mostly spending time together regardless of the venue.
