We are happy to hear that you enjoyed our customer service and your stay in general. Most of our guests are quite interested in enjoying true nature, relaxation, peaceful meditation and yoga, and taking in the energy and healing aspect of a more natural, less "manicured" environment (as opposed to the 5 star resorts with air conditioning, and easy paved paths rather than more natural true hiking trails). We would like to clarify that our waterfall is only a 5 minute hike through a natural jungle trail, so it is considered very close in terms of proximity for most guests, as well as an exciting and totally new experience. That being said, of course, if this is not what you enjoy and prefer a more urban type of experience, maybe we are not the best offering for your interests. Regarding the mosquitos, this is typical of a jungle-like environment; however, and for this reason, we make sure all our window screens are maintained immaculately (without any openings or gaps), so that no bugs are able to get inside. From time to time we do notice that some guests forget to keep the screens closed at all times (as they are not in the habit coming from the city to a jungle habitat), and this is probably what created the situation; so this is a good chance to remind our future guests to keep the screens shut for a fully enjoyable experience . We appreciate your honest feedback, which helps us paint a better picture of what our eco-retreat is all about, so that the upcoming guests will be a better fit for our offering of peaceful secluded natural relaxation, and their expectations will be fulfilled, as it is the case with most of our guests. Mahalo and warm aloha, and thank you for the feedback.
