I am Anna, a Belgian citizen, living already 13 years in South Africa of which five years in Cape Town. I used to work for the Belgian-Flemish development organisation in Pretoria, and now I live with my South-African husband PJ in Cape Town, according to the New York Times, the hippest city in the world! It is indeed the most fantastic city, of immense beauty and with endless opportunities and things to do!
For me, the most important thing as a host is that the guests feel at home in my home and enjoy the city to the most. I will make sure they get to know the most precious places, and all hidden secrets of the city. Loving to travel as well- my favourite destination being the country Mozambique and the city Barcelona- I guess I know what travellers are looking for.
Having gone through a life changing event 8 years ago when i had a serious car accident which left me 8(!) months in the hospital, my life motto is 'carpe diem', seize the day: within seconds it can be finished or life can be totally different and turn 180 degrees. That is why I enjoy every minute of my life, and love good food with a glass of wine (I live in the right region for that!).
