We offer 4 one-bedroom cottages which are like your own beach house. The cottages are made of volcanic rocks, with floors made of mazera stones, and artistically thatched roof. The cabins are nestled deep in the acacia forest facing a seasonal river.
Maasai Simba Camp was built by hand, authentic with a rustic charm uniquely different from any other avarage safari camp in Kenya. The camp has been designed to give guests the feel that it is part of the Maasai tribal village. The village atmosphere, friendly staff, delicious food, and comfortable rooms have inspired many heartwarming comments from guests such as "we felt as if we were members of the Maasai family" and "This has been the highlight of our experience in Africa."

Our property depends on solar power. We ask that you turn off the lights when you leave the room. Also we ask that you shut your door and prevent velvet monkeys from entering into your room. Monkeys have lots of wild berries, nuts, and water around. Therefore, we ask our guest not to feed the monkeys. Giraffes, zebra, kudu, gerenuk, gazelles among many other game are around the camp's property. We ask our guest not to venture into the bush alone without a guide. Observing these basic rules will allow you to get the most out of your experience at Simba Camp. We look forward to sharing our world with you.
I was born and raised in Merrueshi village in Amboseli eco-system, not far from the Tanzanian border. Raised as a Maasai warrior and a cow herder with a western education. I love nature and Africa's wildlife. I have a passion to protect wildlife, habitat, and Maasai culture. I look forward to sharing our world with you.
