We would love to share our beautiful 50 acre farm with you. The accommodation is fairly rustic (a cute '70s-era caravan) but the location is wonderful and very private. Toilets and shower-facilities are a short walk from the actual van (just so you know). If weather permits you can enjoy a bonfire and well-behaved pets are welcome. You can even contact us about bringing your horse along (surcharge applies).
We live on the property as well so will be able to help you with anything.
The caravan is located on the hill plateau above our property and is completely private. We won't come up unless you need something or you would like us to show you how to use something. There is a large open area surrounded by bush. You can easily access the area with a normal car (you don't need a 4WD).
There is a gas stove in the van itself as well as a campfire with hotplate and camp cooking gear.
The amenities are pretty rustic (compost toilet and camp shower) however you are welcome to use the toilet and shower down at the house as well.
There is wildlife around and you might see the occasional wombat or kangaroo. There's also lots of frogs at night.
Accès des voyageurs
You are free to wander around the property but we ask that you don't enter any sheds or paddocks. There are some lovely little bushwalks on the property.
Échanges avec les voyageurs
We are able to help with any directions or questions you have regarding both the caravan and the area. We can direct you to beautiful beaches and bushwalks (Mt Bushwalker is close by as well as the iconic Pigeon House Mountain walk).
The bathroom facilities are fairly rustic (compost toilet and camp shower) but you are welcome to use the toilet and shower facilities at the main house as well (1 - 2 minute walk).
Please note we are not able to supply wifi. Please feel free to pretend it's 1995 :)
- No guns or fireworks allowed.
- Campfire allowed (weather conditions permitting).

My name is Jo and I work as a journalist and one day I would love to be a full-time fiction writer. I love travel and thinking about travel and I wish I had done more of it when I was younger. I think travelling with kids is over-rated and I try to avoid it as much as possible.
My five favourite things would be: my three children, my husband and lying in a hammock reading a book on a warm, breezy afternoon.
I haven't used airbnb very much but a friend recommended it to me so I thought I'd give it a go.
If I had a motto it would probably involve something like, travel lots, be kind to others and enjoy nature.
