Private Bunk Room for two in hostel-type bunkhouse w game room, laundry & no added fees! Great location near Waikiki, beaches, waterfalls, hikes, food, shops, bus & 20 min to airport! Host Lauren manages many listings ensuring great AirBnB experience
Discover Oahu from the heart of one of the best locations on island. The setting is just fantastic in this special piece of property with lush views of the mountains and tropical fruit trees. There are three houses on the property and this listing is in the bunkhouse. This is a hostel-type place for travelers long and short term so you will be sharing the entire bunk house with other AirBnb'ers and travelers.
Watch the walkthrough video on "Yoo toob" by searching Aloha Bunk House or Aloha Bunk (URL HIDDEN) The bunkhouse has three small bunk rooms with one twin bunk bed in each room.
There is a tiny full kitchen with fridge, microwave, toaster, stove and cooking utensils. There is a shared bathroom with full shower tub. There's plenty of free street parking and laundry on-site as well.
The common areas get cleaned regularly with all your clean linens provided. And we never add-on hidden fees like cleaning, second guest, etc. :-) Your host Lauren manages multiple other listings so book confidently knowing you’ll receive a great guest experience.
This listing is for a private bunkroom. This room has a window, a shelf and a twin bunk bed and can accommodate one person on each bed. Some couples do prefer to sleep together on the bottom bunk. Sleeping quarters are modest with enough space for bags.

This is your host Lauren’s former house when she first moved to Oahu (now she lives in Kauai). Lauren makes sure things runs smoothly remotely and loves to say hi when she's on Oahu. The owner Jeremy lives on-site in the back bungalow and also rents it out while he’s traveling. Magnum, Jeremy’s friendly Rottweiler, is the official greeter and a favorite among our guests - read the happy reviews. We rent the other rooms on the property so there’s guests coming and going. We both love to meet our guests - hearing about your adventures and offer advice for exploring Oahu. We all do our own thing and with everyone's various schedules, hopefully we’ll cross paths.
We have a DIY check-in/out to accommodate everyone’s varying schedules. The common areas are cleaned daily but it is an older house in country Oahu! We keep it clean though there's frequent visitors around like geckos, ants, bugs and the occasional mouse. Ants and cockroaches do come if guests leave food out and the geckos help with the pest control! :) It is cleaned, wiped down and swept regularly, but it's not "hotel standards" by any means and we price it accordingly. It's a great place for affordable accommodations. If you need anything, please contact Lauren.
There is a very friendly Rottweiler named Magnum so please be aware for any allergy issues as he sheds a lot in the living room. It does rain nearly everyday so he tracks mud in and the floors can reflect this. We're a pet friendly house and you're welcome to bring dogs only along if they get along with Magnum for an extra $10 a day or monthly rate.
Lauren manages other properties on Kauai and in Honolulu in Oahu. Check out her other listings if you're island hopping! :-)
Insight of Long term renters
Arrive anytime after 4pm and leave by noon. Be cool and don't expect a hotel lol! Take off your shoes at the door, please don't leave any dishes in the sink, close the gates and never park in front of a neighbor's house. Those are the biggies. Smoking is ok outside and alcohol and 420 are ok as long as not disturbing anyone. Generally it's pretty quiet around our house at night. Please put your used linens in laundry basket upon checkout and help us conserve water by reusing your towel :-) Please your space empty for next guest. Contact Lauren if you need anything!

Aloha! I moved to Hawaii sight-unseen from Los Angeles to start 2015 because I wanted to be happy - and it worked! I was inspired by "The 4 Hour Work Week" and am creating a life of liberty.
I sold my first company in Nov. 2014 (bringing animals to kid's birthday parties all over Southern California) and I am enjoying LIVING life and owning my time while plotting new business ventures. I setup my first listings on AirBnB at my home in Honolulu in April 2015.
I didn't stay long in Oahu as I was inspired by the stories of travel and adventures from all of my guests. So I took off to do my own first adventures in solo traveling and I spent 7 weeks exploring Kauai (and fell in love w it and decided to move there!)
I ended up traveling for 5 months straight because of AirBnB in 2015 - it changed my life and I found myself! I explored Kauai, Oahu, CA, AZ, UT, NV and OR while visiting friends, family and seeing amazing sights and tons of National Parks.
I am so grateful for AirBnB as both a host and traveler and love to give back to others. Now I remotely manage many AirBnB listings in partnership with my friends on Oahu and Kauai.
We work together to provide affordable accommodations and share our wonderful islands with you. I live on Kauai with my ohana in the cute little town of Hanapepe.
Now that I manage so many great properties, I have a team for assisting in customer support. We offer an efficient DIY check-in guests love saving you time and money.
I manage a great place in Kapaa town near the beach with shared and private rooms and a private studio. Bend Oregon is a great travel destination and I manage a nice home there.
On Oahu is the original Aloha Bunkhouse in Honolulu with an awesome bunkhouse, residential front house plus a bungalow.
For a great downtown Honolulu experience, we have a suite that's great for large groups.
I love to travel and so grateful for AirBnB and enjoy staying with other hosts. Come visit and book now to enjoy your experience at one of my listings.
