Our apartment is nestled in an artsy, familiar part of Geneva. With the Sunday farmers' market just down the street on one road, a handful of unique restaurants down another, and a view of it all from our sunny, corner balcony, you'll never be bored.
The apartment has wifi, a combination washer/dryer, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine, and a new blue-ray system for the TV.
There are two bedrooms and a third living room space which can be closed off to create a third "bedroom" with a fold-out couch. The master bedroom has a queen-sized bed with a big window for natural morning light. The 2nd bedroom has a trundle bed which can be expanded into a King-sized bed. It's tight, but perfect for sleeping! There is a window overlooking the street and distant mountains with mint green shutters to shut out or let in the light as you prefer.
A favorite way to begin the day is brew a hot nespresso coffee or latté and pop around the corner to a patisserie for a warm croissant. Then, it's great to sit in the living room in the morning sunlight and check emails while you have breakfast. With clean, fresh sheets and towels and an excellent location, you should find a homey space to spend your time in Geneva!
You can choose to stay in Geneva during your visit or hop on a train/bus to locations inside Switzerland or just over the border in neighboring France. Among the popular day trip locations are:
Montreux (home of the famous Jazz festival and Christmas markets) ((URL HIDDEN)
Gruyères - mmm...cheese ((URL HIDDEN)
Cailler - the delicious Swiss chocolate factory and tour spot (URL HIDDEN)
Chamonix - in France, awesome for hiking, skiing and other outdoor activities ((URL HIDDEN)
...and a TON of other spots. See ww(URL HIDDEN) for other ideas and information.
Kindly wash any dishes you may use during your stay.
We are a flexible, easygoing couple. As long as guests are tidy, respectful of the space, and clean-up after themselves, all are welcome!

I am Emily Grace Toole, wife of Robby Toole - an extraordinary athlete, musician and master of impressions. (Ask him to do his Smeagol/Gollum impression -- you won't be disappointed!)
I am also mother to Maximilian Michael Toole, 6 month-old American football enthusiast and mashed sweet potato lover. He is working on perfecting his piano concerto entitled, "Le Bang on le Keys". ;)
We are an outdoorsy family who enjoy hiking, skiing, swimming, and exploring. We love to cook and enjoy making music and listening to it too!
Max is a very sociable little guy, and would be very happy to meet anyone who walks through our friend door. We would love to host you and yours!
