I moved to sunny Sarasota in 1982 and purchased this historic property in 1986. I have been passionate about it ever since. In 2016 I started a conversion of the 12 apartments into a Bed & Breakfast and hope to have that completed by winter 2018. Currently renting 9 units and Airbnb for those that want to be close to the beaches and the incredible culture Sarasota has to offer.
I volunteer a lot for a nonprofit that I founded in 2007. Every November the Chalk Festival brings together artists who use chalk as their medium and the road surface to create oversized traditional and 3D paintings. It has become the only festival in the world where over 95% of the world's most famous pavement artists perform together and it hosts the largest number of 3D pavement paintings ever displayed in one location.
I support sustainability, eating well and overall mental and physical health. I enjoy good food, architecture, performing and visual arts, hiking, yoga, exploring and have traveled the world - but love Sarasota!
