Great place in a lovely neighborhood. Denise was responsive and everything about my trip went smoothly. I enjoyed walking around the area, the closeby restaurants and amenities, and the beach - 20 minutes away. Would stay here again and recommend it to others.

Denise has decorated the apartment with a designer's touch. Books, magazines and unique pieces of furniture all add to the ambiance. I stayed alone but the apartment would be very comfortable for a couple as well. Location is excellent: a quiet, low-rise neighborhood, within 10 mins. walking to Main St. for numerous restaurants and to the bay front for water views. Check in and check out was a breeze, thanks to Denise residing in the building. Plus she was highly responsive throughout to texts and emails.

Denise was there waiting when we arrived. #8 is Clean and nicely decorated. Felt like home with hard woods, book shelves, leather sofa. Denise was kind to provide beach chairs as well as a fold-up bed for a friend that decided to cone with me at the last minute. Great, quiet neighborhood. Would recommend Burns Court cafe for breakfast. Marina Jacks for dinner. We had forgotten a thing or two but just walked across the street to The Womens Exhange. LARGE second hand store that had everything. Donations go to charity. Helene

We stayed in apartment #1. It was spacious and comfortable, felt just like home. The location is in a great area downtown. It is a very easy and quick walk to shops, restaurants and Whole Foods. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. We rented a car, parking was easy and it is a short drive to the beaches of Siesta Key. Check in was a breeze, and Denise was very quick to respond to our questions. We really appreciated the attention to detail in the apartment. Denise also generously provided towels and chairs for the beach.

I moved to sunny Sarasota in 1982 and purchased this historic property in 1986. I have been passionate about it ever since. In 2016 I started a conversion of the 12 apartments into a Bed & Breakfast and hope to have that completed by winter 2018. Currently renting 9 units and Airbnb for those that want to be close to the beaches and the incredible culture Sarasota has to offer.

I volunteer a lot for a nonprofit that I founded in 2007. Every November the Chalk Festival brings together artists who use chalk as their medium and the road surface to create oversized traditional and 3D paintings. It has become the only festival in the world where over 95% of the world's most famous pavement artists perform together and it hosts the largest number of 3D pavement paintings ever displayed in one location.

I support sustainability, eating well and overall mental and physical health. I enjoy good food, architecture, performing and visual arts, hiking, yoga, exploring and have traveled the world - but love Sarasota!
