Description

A renovated 1930's bungalow, 10 mins easy walk to the village. The main house has 3 bedrooms (1 king & 2 singles+cot), & 1 bathroom. Self-contained outhouse has king bed & en-suite. Property has private back lawn with all day sun & alfresco dining.

Unwind in our extensive private backyard surrounded by stunning mature native trees. The section is north facing receiving all day sun. There are several al fresco dining options around the property depending on the time of day & how much or little sun you like! The gentle sloping lawn is ideal for kids to roam at will, & swings under the trees. The lawn is fully irrigated automatically so you are guaranteed lush & green grass for your stay.

The main house has a master bedroom and then two single bedrooms, one with a cot. We are happy to shift around beds to make the composition work for your booking. We also have a fold out single bed if required as well.

We hire in high quality commercial linen for your stay.

You are welcome to use our BBQ, bread-maker, juicer, food processor and full access to kitchen items.

We own Coastal Wine Cycles, so if you wish to hire bikes through us during your stay to explore the region, we will offer you a 50% discount off the bikes for staying at our property.

We will have a friend nearby if you need to know where anything is or would like the house serviced during your stay (for an additional charge.)

We live in a family friendly, safe, quiet neighborhood with an easy walk to the Village. Havelock North is a chic village filled with fantastic cafes, restaurants and shops. Our favorites to name a few include Hawthorne Coffee, Wright & Co & Maina for day time stops and for dinners out its Pipis, Mamacita or Deliciosa followed by cocktails at Hugo Changs. The shopping includes several designer clothing & shoe shops as well as fantastic gift shops. 10-minutes drive and you can be up Te Mata Peak (360 degree views of Hawke's Bay with a network of amazing walks) or dining out at wineries; Black Barn, Craggy Range or Elephant Hill. 20 mins drive to Art Deco Capital - Napier or out to Ocean Beach or Waimarama for a day at the beach. There is loads to see and do around the region.

Best to have your own car to explore the region (with dial a driver when you indulge in too much wine!)

We are a young family so there is access to children toys both indoors & outdoors. There is also a cot in one of the single bedrooms in the main house.

Great house in quiet neighborhood close to shops and restaurants. Very spacious for the 5 of us would highly recommend.

We want to come back already! Hannah was an amazing host, great communication and very accommodating. Her place is incredible - such a good setup if you have kids and great location. Plus the beautiful Havelock North itself, we just need another excuse to come back :)

We had such a lovely time at Hannah's. The place literally had everything we could imagine to want. It was meticulously clean and set out perfectly for a group of gals or even families. We couldn't get over how easy it would be to live there and enjoy the region. Hannah was so lovely and so accommodating. Can't wait to visit this fabulous wine region and this place again! :)
