Mathias House is one of Queenstown’s most cosy Alpine Retreats. Situated just minutes from downtown Queenstown, this luxury home is the perfect place to escape with friends and family.

This four bedroom alpine designed home is designed with simplicity in mind using raw natural materials throughout. Encompassing two bathrooms with an additional powder room and spanning 216m2 across two floors that are separated by a stacked concrete block feature wall.

The master suite opens out to a landscaped area and enjoys a walk-through wardrobe into an Italian tiled ensuite with quality joinery and fittings. Queen bed.

The additional three bedrooms are located in the east wing and enjoy rural and mountain views and capture sensational afternoon and evening sun.

The contemporary kitchen services a large living and dining room and opens onto a sun-drenched deck that has been designed for year-round alfresco living. This vast space enjoys exposed timber trusses, polished concrete floors and plentiful heating for those cold winter months.

Significant native landscaping and in a premium position with a reserve opposite the driveway in Atley Downs, this home is only a short drive to central Queenstown and the Coronet Peak skifield.

This is a residential area so please respect the neighbours. Cavell's is located by the Shotover Bridge that is great for Friday night Fish n Chips or a drink watching the action packed Shotover Jet roar down the river.

There is public bus service from outside the Holiday Park which is on the main road passed the mailboxes. There are also multiple taxi services should you wish.

Excessively littered and/or dirty conditions at departure will result in extended housekeeping hours that will be charged back to the guest plus an additional 20% service and handling fee. This includes but not limited to; carpet cleaning, stain removal, repaint, repair finishes, replace furnishings, textiles, BBQ or homewares, or excessive rubbish removal. This will be charged against your security bond, or if inadequate to the credit card used to pay for the original booking.

Guests making a booking and any additional guests must be over 21 years of age, unless accompanied by a suitable parent or guardian.

Each property has specific occupancy limits and rules of conduct which are strictly enforced. The number of adults and children to occupy the property must be stated at the time of booking and must not exceed the allowed number of guests. Property boundary lines, privacy, and the quiet enjoyment of neighbours are to be respected at all times, with quiet hours observed between 9pm and 7am each night.
Increased occupancy, vehicle traffic, excessive noise, or illegal activity, will result in a $500 penalty fee, immediate eviction, and forfeiture of the remaining paid rentals. This penalty fee will be charged against your security deposit, or if not adequate to the credit card used to pay for the accommodation.

The use of the property for a function, party, or any other form of event is strictly prohibited. Use of the property for purposes other than a residential dwelling will result in immediate eviction from the property, termination of the booking, forfeiture of all prepaid rentals and a penalty of $500, deducted from the security bond and the balance to the credit card provided upon booking.
