As much or as little as you like. We typically select guests with whom we have an easy rapport, and even more often make new friends before our new guests' arrival.
Most importantly: this is your vacation--you can contact us as much or as little as you'd like and expect an immediate reply.
Too many to list here. Stunning views from house and extremely close to some of LA's best hiking trails that overlook a 270 degree views of Los Angeles, from Santa Monica and Venice, beach to downtown LA. (This is not the Valley side of the hills, it is the downtown Los Angeles, West Hollywood, Sunset Strip, Nichols Canyon side--the views are AMAZING--on a clear day you can see the Pacific, even Catalina Island.)
You’ll be amazed at how quiet this neighborhood is—you can literally hear a gnat sneeze, especially during the evenings. There are many small children (one three year-old and a brand new baby) that live in the immediate vicinity.
That said, I always suggest that you use your “INSIDE CANYON” voice when you’re outside which means your regular conversational tone; no loud screaming/shouting.
Although there are no parking restrictions whatsoever, please park on the house side of the street. Best practice, park between the driveway and then head down the hill towards the end of the paddle tennis court—there are almost always free spaces there.

We are both enterpreneurial, love to travel, and we divide our time between LA, Rancho Mirage, NYC and, often, airports. We love a good new restaurant, cooking, the art scene, film, reading, writing, not so much 'rithmatic. Hiking, golf, yoga, swimming and skiing are among our passions.
We all love this micro business, particularly the hospitality part. We are thrilled when we can facilitate our guests' holiday to far exceed their expectations. This house will do that: it's a spa retreat in the desert, with state-of-the-art everything. If you are a fan of luxury finishes and features: we are likely a match. This house is designed to spoil you.
While the house is large enough to accommodate a fraternity, we prefer to host a smaller, quiet group. It's a beautiful scenic landscape, and very private, so hooting and hollering, or clog dancing, in or outside, of the property is discouraged.
Please tell us a little about yourself, and what brings you to Sothern California, so that we can better provide an optimal hosting experience.
