As a native San Diegan and just a couple miles away, I can answer any questions you might have. The building has been in the family for a half century and there are many fond memories from my childhood there. We have bikes, boogie boards, soft surfboards, paddle boards, beach chairs, etc. for an extra rental charge so just ask at check in.
Mission Beach is a bustling beach community and this studio is right on the main arterial street. This part of San Diego is know for its miles of beaches, board walks and surf.
No parties are allowed. The studio is small enough that more than a couple is a crowd. The beach/bay is your backyard. Be respectful of other tenants, especially in the common areas. They are long-term tenants that enjoy their weekends fully and at times into the late hours of the night and take priority over short-term rentals.
The Mission Beach area bustles with activity and house parties at night are the norm on weekends and during summer. Those wanting a quiet vacation without all the activity of the beach should consider staying inland.
