À propos de ce logement
The Cleveland Cottage is a charming little 1 bed/1 bath, 900 sqft house with a spacious living room (and a pull-out couch!), and a full kitchen. The house was built with wood from the property as a carriage house for one of the first homes in town.
The Cleveland Cottage is walking distance to downtown Cleveland (Cotton Row/Sharpe Street) as well as Delta State University and the Grammy Museum. We've recently renovated the entire house: we painted all the rooms, replaced most of the bathroom (except the original cast iron bathtub), and updated the kitchen. All of the furniture is brand new and very comfortable! The house was built with wood from the property over 75 years ago and the cottage is complete with old house charm including gently sloping original wood floors, original windows, and a very clean but worn cast iron bathtub. It's the best of old and new and it is a contributing property in the Founder's District, a national historic distinction.
Accès des voyageurs
You'll have complete use of the house (including an oven/stove, & full refrigerator) except for the hallway closet, which we use to store supplies and such.
Échanges avec les voyageurs
The house is owned by three friends who live in the town/county. We're happy to provide suggestions on what to do and where to eat!

I grew up in New York City, but moved to rural Mississippi (about two hours south of Memphis, TN) after college and never left! My wife, Suzette, and I love to travel, meet new people, and host friends new and old here in Mississippi.
