Explore the beauty of nature in this astonishing mountain top lake with a breathtaking view. Our island offers an ambiance of a peaceful country setting where you can experience serenity away from your busy life.

If you want a great outdoor experience: whether it's camping, swimming, fishing, boating, bonfire, horseback riding or just laying back and enjoying your much needed vacation, Green Valley island is the spot for you.

Stay in our simple nipa hut equipped with bunk beds that can sleep 4 people or just enjoy the outdoors through pitched tents which we can also provide.

If you want to ensure that you will be the only guests in the island, we will gladly block the calendar for a fee of $200 which will entitle you to a total of 20 guests.

Please see our other listing under greenvalley2...we built twin huts that can accommodate 6 guests each and 2 cabanas facing the lake that can accommodate 4 people.

There is a small native dining hall across the nipa hut where you can enjoy the meals that you have prepared or you can ask our caretaker to cook them for you at a small fee.

We have a fire pit at the top most portion of the island where you can enjoy grilling hotdogs or marshmallows under the star-lit skies.

Experience dining at our floating cabana which also serves as our launch pad for swimming. We strictly adhere to a "no-life vest, no-swimming policy" since safety is our foremost concern. Life vests will be provided for those who intend to swim.

We have solar electricity good for lighting and charging your gadgets. If you want to stay connected with the outside world, we will provide you with a wi-fi.

The island is an animal friendly environment...we have 2 horses, 1 carabao, 4 turkeys and chickens roaming around. However, we will ensure that you will not be bothered by them during your stay.

You are free to bring your own pets if you wish, they, too, deserve a vacation.

Experience catching shrimps and having them cooked by Ate Amy. Her specialty is Ginataang hipon (shrimp in coconut milk) which will surely be delectable. Try them with our freshly picked Calamansi...all for a minimal cost.

Feel free to roam around the whole island and enjoy every corner of it. We would appreciate though if you will refrain from throwing anything on the ground since we are trying to preserve the area...

Ate Amy and Kuya Lito are our caretakers. They will be there to assist you during your stay. However, their assistance will not include cleaning up your dishes or washing your clothes. They will only ensure that you get to and out of the island safely, provide you with clean drinking water, life vests, wood for the bonfire (upon request) or help you with other activities you would want to engage in while in the lake.

The island is around 2.5 to 3 hours away from Manila. If you don't have a car, you can get there by riding the bus from Manila/Cubao/Alabang. Make sure the sign says Sta. Cruz. Upon reaching Sta. Cruz, ride a jeepney with a Lumot sign and get off at Gloria Hall (Lumot Lake port).

If you're bringing a private vehicle, go there via South Luzon Expressway, all way to Calamba, then take the national road all the way to Pagsanjan. Once you reach Pagsanjan church, we prefer to use the Lumban road going up to Caliraya since the roads are wider. From Caliraya, it is only about 15 minutes away.

The following are included in the rates:
1. Use of life vest
2. Use of floating cabana
3. Mineral water
4. Ice chest

The following are NOT included in the fees:
1. Boat rides going to and out of the island during check in/out. You will pay directly to the boatman and the cost is P250 per trip. The boat can accommodate up to 20pax. please note that boat rides will only be up to 6pm for safety purposes.

The following shall be charged:
1. Horseback riding - P100/15mins
2. bonfire - P100 per bundle of wood
3. Island hopping - P500
4. Boating (with 2 paddles) - P200/hour

Guests are not allowed to make fire on the ground except on the fire pit. We hope that you understand our concern in keeping the place green. We will provide you with a grill if you intend to cook beside your tent or any other area.
