What the apartment lacks in state-of-the-art amenities, it makes up for in coziness & charm! It has personality, warmth & feels like a HOME - not a stark hotel room. The East Village neighborhood helps infuse the space w/ bohemian energy & life!
Three Bedroom, artsy-vibe apartment in East Village! Historic 1903 brownstone building with character and charm, located across from Stuyvesant Park...a nice little patch of nature in the concrete jungle.
The room is modest, but comfortable and located on the quiet side of the building. The private room gets nice afternoon "dusk" light. Room is outfitted with a full-sized bed, a small desk and chair, bedside table and closet.
Guests will have full access to the shared bathroom, living room, and kitchen. Guests who do not anticipate doing much heavy-duty cooking are preferred, as the other housemates are frequent cookers and must schedule using the kitchen, as it is!
Always happy to give tips, NYC places of note, local spots, etc. via text/email. Always available to answer questions!
Minimal interaction with guests is anticipated, as my work/personal schedule is hectic and time I spend in the apartment, is fairly regimented and private.
Heart of some of the coolest, quintessential NYC neighborhoods in the city - East Village, Union Square and Gramercy!
These 'hoods are especially amazing during the (Website hidden by Airbnb) many things to take in, sightsee and experience! The apartment is 5 minutes from Union Square, a few blocks down from the historic Gramercy neighborhood, and right on the fringe of the funky East Village.
From restaurants, to cafes, to shopping, to grocery & drug stores...everything you need is literally within a 2 block radius in any direction!
Apartment is about a 1 minute walk from the 1st Avenue L-train (crosstown); 6 minute walk from Union Square (N/Q/R trains; 4/5/6/ trains - both downtown/uptown).
There are uptown/downtown buses on 1st and 2nd Avenues, and the crosstown bus on 14th Street, one street below.
My dog, Oxford, stays in the apartment during the day and is allowed throughout the apartment and in my room. The other rooms and bathroom, should have doors closed when I'm not home, as he has issues swallowing things (out of anxiety when I'm not there).
Guests are not expected, nor should, walk or feed him. That said, playing and hanging out with him is obviously fine!
