I feel really sorry that your experience in my studio was under your expectations, but I would like to explain my point of view:
First of all, it’s clearly written in the description of the apartment that electricity and water are to be paid separately, I’m sorry that you didn't read it, but this is not my fault … in fact, all other guests I’m having are fine with it.
Talking about essentials, what airbnb counts for “essentials" is at your disposal in the studio: clean towels, clean bed sheets, water, even some fruit and snacks… I haven’t thought of providing salt and pepper, but I’ll consider your suggestion and I’ll put them in the studio.
Counting objects during check-out is something that takes not more than 5 minutes and we’ve decided to do it as some guests stole items from the apartment last year… we even arrange guests’ transfer to the airport by taxi at a low price to make it all easy and fluid, so I really don’t understand why this should be a problem. Anyway, I know that hosting is different from renting, so I’ll think about it and I might change the way we check-out.
Again, I’m sorry for the complaints, I’ve just started my experience as a host on airbnb and I’m trying to do my best; anyway, thanks for highlighting negative points because I will obviously take it all into consideration to become a better host and make people feel at home in my studio.
