Daniel is an amazing host. He went out of his way to make sure we were settled in nicely and checked in on us several times during our stay to ensure everything was fine. His cottage is amazingly close to a magnificent beach which felt private - we rarely met other people. Around the cottage, there is also a nice French restaurant at a walking distance (about 5 minutes), and if you're up for a good walk, there is a pub, a marina, 2 resorts and a liquor store about 15-20 minutes away (on foot). Otherwise, a car would be needed to get around. The cottage, in our opinion, needs a bit of love. The kitchen lacks some of the basic tools such as a cutting board, knives and spatulas. The bugs somehow find ways to get in although we were very careful with the door (perhaps it's a general Bahamian problem), and the hot water was unreliable. Other than that, what you see in the pictures is what you get - no surprises. It's a good value. A/C works great, you have a little terrasse where you can take your coffee in the morning, with chairs you can bring to the beach which is a good plus. It's a quiet neighbourhood and people are very nice. Overall, we had a great time.
