Dear Philippe - thanks for the feedback. Yes the thing with London, and most people don't realise this, is that there is virtually no residential accommodation in the central zone one, except exceedingly expensive hotels. So all the residential apartments are just outside the very centre in Zone 2. I don't think i'm being especially biased to say that most people's first choice is in West London, around the area of Chelsea and Kensington, where we are. It is just a quirk of London that the very centre is almost entirely commercial, or exceptionally expensive! In other words completely different to what you are used to in Paris.
